im not the writer of my story
im the main character in this chaotic novel

not wanting to die
is good enough

and tonight
we have nothing to say

2 midlife crises
by the age of 22

Alone in the dark,
My tears are the only spark.

i dont have words
i only have pain

conventional wisdom
is pretty useless dumb

im not so crazy about joy
if it must come with pain

an insomniac
with an alarm clock

life is me trapped inside searching for exits
hopeful for a moment to escape from bolted doors

i am worthy of love in the storm

how do your emotions
come in a rhyme

thank you for also being sad

i stay up so late into the night
and now its light  outside

i want to play by the rules
but i do not know them

i wish i can make whatever is killing you go away
i see you being beaten
and i know it hurts you so bad
i want it to stop for you
but whenever i used to try i felt the painful death myself

like what is actually after the sky
it’s either infinity or nothing

when im so sure im right
theres no way to believe im wrong

i have loved  her in the past
but now she is just my wife

every long day
adds up to a pixel

The water is seeping out of my eyes
I’m left with a dehydrated headache

without language
poems would all be sensations

and on the days most unbearable
she silently cried
and the tears on her cheek
would stroke her good night

exactly when i need to think straight
my mind gets clogged

i dont get it

you dont need to win at life
if its a stupid game either way

i do quite a lot
for someone who’s lost the will to live

Gd really be using me for entertainment at this point

the flower placed in less sunlight wilted
and so she blamed herself for it

if you fooled me
dont blame me

i wont write about
the peace i feel now

just squirming for a life of the least discomfort and its not working

my life is a prank being played on me

oh just please G-d
tell me exactly how to dance

love is a matchstick

what about until its ok

my goal in life is peace
and no anxiety

whats if my sadness all this time
was never up to me

my emotions keep
throwing me out of whack

quitting therapy is the depths

someone is playing a prank on me probably with this life im living

pushed onto the tightrope of life
continuously plummeting into pain

the stress isnt worth the point
but im in too deep now

the stories i make up in my head
the story of my life

some of you don’t wake up
with a walnut lodged in your throat

all the wisdom has not been enough i am here in pain

can i just have legs
i dont get it

the pain is always deeper than the pleasure
