When life becomes trying Lord,
Help us in times such as these:
Help us Lord be your children,
Show us how you we're to please.

Help us to be courageous,
When we're pressured to live wrong:
Give us needed strength we need,
So to you Lord we'll belong.

Help us seek the narrow path,
That to heaven leads us there:
To be with you forever,
With your never-ending care.

To sinful ways help us say no,
Lord, help us to do your will:
Help us be open to it,
Peace in our lives, there instill.

Lord, with life's priorities,
Which ones, Lord, should we put first,
With our lives, help us please you,
For your wisdom, help us thirst.

Those who need our time the most,
Some, dear Lord, help us to give;
Help us see you in others,
Help us know how we're to live.

Help our time to be well spent,
And see life with a clear view;
Help us Lord, to do what's right,
What's good, Lord, help us pursue.

Help with life's priorities,
So life will seem more at ease.
Help us, dear Lord, everyday,
Choosing our priorities.
Lord, I ask you to help me,
Be submissive to your Will;
With heaven my objective,
Peace in my heart, there, instill.

Lord, since you know everything,
You want what is best for me,;
How to live in holiness,
Dear Lord, help me clearly see,

Found in the dark times of life,
From your heart comes brilliant light;
You know what I'm in need of,
So you grant me your insight.

In life's worst times, help me cope.
Help me not give up on hope,
Lord, on me bestow your grace.
Thanks for all you've given me.
Life's joys help me recognize.
In hearts, beauty, help me see.

Dear Lord, I give you due praise.
Your heart with my love I've crowned.
Give me a heart that's priceless,
So in debt I won't be found.

Dear Lord, give me needed strength,
I receive through daily food.
You come in the Eucharist,
For this I show gratitude.
Dear Lord, help me to notice,
The blessings you bring to me;
For good things, Lord, that you give,
Gratefully, Lord, I thank Thee.

Good things, I have not asked for,
Many still you give to me;
Lord, because you so love me,
Happy you want me to be.

For things that lead me to you,
I give you my gratitude;
For things such as these, dear Lord,
Give to me my whole life through.

I can see how I should live,
With commands to me you give.
When I'm in need of a friend,
Lord, please send a friend my way
Who will help lift my spirits,
And bring light into my day.

Send someone into my life,
Whom I'm able to talk to,
Someone who wants what is best
For me and will care like you.

Even if you don't, dear Lord,
You will still be my best friend.
For me you want what is best.
Your will help me understand.

Give me the strength and courage
That I need to persevere.
When life is hard to  cope with,
Times like this, Lord, then be near.
Help me, Lord, to do your will,
During each night and each day;
Help me, Lord to be like you,
In your presence help me stay.

Help me to be courageous,
And stand up for what is right;
Lord, rid me of life's darkness,
Always be my Guiding Light.

When your help, I'm in need most,
Close to me, Lord, there then be;
When in life, I appear blind,
Help me, Lord,  to clearly see.

Your love I am in need of,
Lord, show me how I 'm to love.
Lord, help us to live  like you,
When we find life full of strife:
Give us the strength and courage,
So we'll have pure love in life.

Life isn't always our way,
With your help it can go yours,
When we're open to your will,
We notice joy in life pours.

Hopeful Lord, help us to be
At times when we find life rough:
Help us so we won't worry,
Peace and joy give us enough.

Lord, our hearts for love you made,
Help our love to never fade.

When others don't show us love,
Help us love them in return,
How to be holy dear Lord,
Help us be able to learn.

Loving help us be like you
Help us daily do your will.
Tranquil help our hearts to be,
Your peace in them, Lord, instill.

Lord, help us know what to do,
When in life hard times we face:
Help us live our lives for you,
And, give to us needed grace.

Lord show us how to please you,
Each day draw us close to you.
At times when life is hectic,
And we find life hard to live:
What we're most in need of,
Is your love, Lord, to us give.

Help us grow in holiness:
Humble, show us how to be,
To you Lord, help us be true,
Show us how we're to love Thee.

Wisdom, Lord, drill in us,
Help us so we'll become wise:
Help us, Lord, so we'll please you,
And lead us to paradise.

Help us forgive others, Lord,
You're our God to be adored.
Lord, You Endured Bitter Pains,
Like us while you were on earth:
Even pains of bitter cold,
Especially after birth.

The pains we go through in life,
Dear Lord, help us to endure:
Help heaven be our final home,
Help our lives on earth be pure.

Lord, you endured bitter pains,
While upon a cross you hung:
Help us not complain in life,
When we feel in life we're stung.

Bitter pains which we endure
Then your love for us assure.
Before we ask for something,
God knows what we're in need of;
God likes to give us good things;
Especially when it's love.

We're called to be persistent,
Living as God wants us to;
Holiness is what pleases him,
It, he wants us to pursue.

God wants hearts to be gentle,
And be understanding too;
With hearts open to our Lord,
Our lives then become anew.

Absence of your love, dear Lord,
Is something we can't afford.
Lord, you're welcome in my heart,
There's a place reserved for you,
I hope there you'll feel at home,
And see that I love you true.

Give me the wisdom that I need,
To know how I can please you,
A holy life loving Lord,
Always help me to pursue.

Come into my heart dear Lord,
And there, bring your peace with you.
Bring to me your inmost calm,
And joy in my heart, Lord too.

You're welcome in my heart, Lord,
Please make my heart be restored.

When the wheat from fields are reaped,
There's much work yet to be done.
Stalks are then cut and harrowed,
Then they're dried by wind and sun.

The work done by the bailer,
Compacts straw that's in furrows,
After twine tightens the straw,
Each bale off the baler goes.

Today lets forget the gym,
It's the day that we make straw.
It's time to work our muscles.
From rest it's time to withdraw.

There'll be work on the trailer,
And there'll be work on the field.
The work is more exhausting,
Where the wheat had a good field.

Bales are brought to the trailer,
Where they're thrown then stacked on it.
The work is sure exhausting,
But its not yet time to quit.

Byhe bale escalator,
To the barn times bales are brought.
When there's no escalator,
We then work more than we ought.

Stacking bales inside the barn,
Laborious it's there too;
When the bales are put away,
To the kitchen we head to.

Mary Anne you're a swell friend,
For your sweetness you're treasured,
By her gentle T.L.C,
Your heart's beauty is measured.

Your heart is known for sweetness,
Lilacs as sweet wish they'd be,
But then I do not blame them,
As it's sweeter than honey.

Your heart is prized for sweetness,
As it always is in bloom:
Does my heart possess a wick,
That her heart's love makes illume?

Freesia when in  perfume,
Are not as sweet as you are,
Mary Anne, you're sure lovely,
And truly spectacular.
The bright sunshine of your heart,
And your smiles with flakes of gold,
Make you very outstanding.
You have a heart warm, not cold.

Why spend time picking up cans,
When your smiles are on the ground?
Your smiles I value much more,
Not just for their gold renowned.

Their warmth and sunshine I prize
Each smile means so much to me;
Like your heart's core of gold,
Your smiles are ones of beauty.

You give off many of them.
They shine like your sunshine heart.
I love how they shine brightly.
Each one is a work of art.

I'll leave cans for the can man,
And share your smiles with the poor.
The more I will give away,
You will give me many more.

Having you as a good friend,
I know I am really blessed.
Your heart's love and TLC,
My heart, they sure have impressed
When I find life is dismal,
And I need some sunshine bright
I look for Mary Anne's heart,
That is sunny day and night.

Mary Anne is a great friend,
With brunette hair and eyes blue
Her heart is warm and caring,
No wonder it I pursue.

She is a treasured angel,
And her heart's wealth can't be bought.
Her heart is warm and gentle,
Sunshine in my heart she's brought.

With Mary Anne as my friend,
I find my heart is content.
Being real kind and thoughtful,
Is Mary Anne's heart's intent.

Her smiles when they ricochet,
Can spin stars that are above.
No wonder they're so renowned,
And always them I think of.
