On roads cars are traveling,
Out west a blizzard draws near;
With it a white wonderland
That will make cars hard to steer.

The snow is full of tire tracks,
On streets and highways they're seen.
The blizzard as it comes in,
Douses sky with flakes pristine.

Roads have snow five inches high,
Snow tracks, flakes now start to fill;
From the blizzard taking place,
Landing on road, plain, and hill.

Will the side streets get salted,
When the salt trucks get sent out?
Not enough salt is stockpiled
To be put on every route.

When traffic comes to a halt,
The snowflakes white and pristine;
Keep landing on the tire tracks,
Until they no more are seen.

The countryside of Ireland,
Is where Mary Anne does go.
When she vacations Ireland,
With sunshine Ireland does glow.

From her heart of bright sunshine,
Her contagious smiles are lit
Each one is full of beauty,
All of Ireland will admit.

Ireland has its emeralds,
But the jewel that's prized most,
Is the heart of Mary Anne,
That's treasured from coast to coast.

The folk of Ireland delight,
In her visits there for sure.
Her heart has esteemed sunshine,
Her smiles, bright, it makes occur.

It's when she is in Ireland,
Ireland's beauty is more grand.
Her warm, gentle, caring heart,
Sure knows how to understand.

It was on St. Pat's Day night,
Green light was seen in the  sky.
Stars weren't the main attraction,
Do you know the reason why?

Giant shamrocks in the sky,
Had made the stars appear wee.
When your smiles had reached them,
They then shone with much beauty.

Gold and bright light from your heart,
Brightly had ricocheted there;
As far as the eyes could see,
Gold flakes floated everywhere.


Shamrocks out on St. Pat's night,
Filled the sky with sheer delight.

I wish they would be eating pears,

When May's catalpa trees blossom,

Their white flowers have purple throats,
Light fragrance from these blooms  escape.  

Roses and so many flowers,
Make a real, rare, picturesque  sight;
Amidst drapes of catalpa blooms,
There is a sight of grand delight.

With  limbs of white catalpa blooms,,      
The catalpa trees are well draped;
Their blooms release a light fragrance,     
What a lovely place well landscaped.

I hope on this Christmas day,
Joys profuse will come our way;
And that we will find blessings,
And sunshine to warm the day.

When we spend time with loved ones,    
A memory we will make.
When we're at Christmas  dinner,
Our appetites will partake.
