Sufferings
Lord, help me use my sufferings
To free those in purgatory:              
In whatever way they're useful,
To good use, Lord, help them to be.

Sometimes I bring them on myself,
Yet many of them I do not:
Lord, you can bring good out of them,
Many times I've sure got a lot.

Lord, times when  I encounter them,
Help me bear crosses that they bring:
Don't give me more than I can bear,
To you they are my offering.

When sufferings bring me close to you,
I can see that you love me true.

God's unconditional love
Will always be infinite:
It is when he gives us love,    
Hearts then become brightly lit.                  

       Our lives he wants part of them,
He'll forgive sins we regret:
When we do God's will we find            
That we will not need to fret.

God wants to bring us his peace,
And fill our hearts with his love:  
With our lives God wants to help,
Do good we're capable of.

God's love for us will not cease,
On us, his peace he'll release.

To our Lord's Eternal Home,
Blessed Mother, lead me there:
Ask Christ to grant me his peace,
That I need and loving care.

Life's burdens help me to bear,
When in life I find much grief:  
When I'm in need of God's love,
From doubt, Mother, grant relief.

Things that God has made on earth,    
Help me notice their beauty:
Draw me close to Christ your Son,
And help me draw close to thee.      


When life's trials I find rough,
Give me Mother, love enough.

I love how your eyes sparkle,
Like emeralds are meant to:
I love how you light my heart,  
And I am so glad you do.

It is your sweet, tender care,
That does make my heart unlock.
Your heart does much more healing,    
Even than the herb burdock.            

You're a star without a doubt,
Brighter than the stars above:
Cast thy starlight upon me,
Caring friend with heart of love.

You're a jewel of great worth,  
Though you're not one for a ring:
Around my heart your caring love,
Is where I want it to cling.

I love how your eyes sparkle,
Heaven's stars sure love them too:    
Heaven's stars can't shine as bright,
As your eyes but would love to.

Heaven's stars want your eyes there,  
Lovelier heaven would view:
If they could shrink down in size,
They could shine on earth with you.


I love how your eyes sparkle,
They make your face brightly glow:          
Your sparkling eyes have beauty,
Day by day the more does show.      

How your eyes sparkle, I love,  
You they make me think more of.
