Over my friend, Mary Anne,
The way you lived in holiness,
This way, show her how she can.

Help my friend Mary Anne see,
How to please God every day,
Help her so she'll know God's will,
With wisdom, please guide her way.

Help her to use time wisely,       
Ask God to give her his peace.
Help her to find joys in life,
That will increase and not cease.

Watch over, my treasured friend,
Needed help to her extend.

Lovely lady robed in white,
I ask you once more this day,
To bring light in my dark hours          
Blessed Mother this I pray.        

When I'm tempted with evil,
And in help I'm in need of,
Ask Christ to send sufficient grace.
And bountifully his love.

For it is by thy gentleness,
I'm encouraged to be meek:
The good that is in others,    
Blessed Mother help me seek.

There are many joys in life,
Some appearing in disguise,
Help me find them dear Mother,
With a heart that's truly wise.
