Rosy at times, life is not,
And hard times come in our day,
It's time to get on our knees,
And with you, dear Lord then pray.
You want us to do your will,
Happy, you want us to be;
You want to give us wisdom,
And the truth to set us free.
Help us to be vigilant,
When the devil comes our way;
Lord, give us help that we need,
So we will not come to stray.
