The thunder of a snowstorm,
Caused a dresser come to shake,
An alarm clock fell off it,
For the sound was like a quake.
On a chute that led outside,
Is where the clock came to land;
The snow dusting on the clock,
Then had started to expand.
The alarm was still in tact,
When it was time, ring it did;
It shook off the snow dusting,
An awoke mouse ran and slid.
It was now time for breakfast,
So to the barn the mouse went;
Hhen will he wake tomorrow,
Went the alarm is absent?
