I ask you, Lord to help me see,
All the good that is in life;
During life's trying times, Lord,
Please help me in times of strife.

When life is far from rosy,
Sunshine in life help me see;
When life appears near hopeless,
Hope can make life's darkness flee.

When life is far from sunny,
And it appears dark as black;
Lord, during times such as these,
