hi Niko
Thank you Lord for Christmastime
A season of love and cheer
A time to give and forgive
And hold one’s family dear.

Thank you Lord for Christmastime
A lovely time of the year.
A time to  sing and worship
And to cast away all fear.

Thank you Lord for Christmastime
When hope is made so clear.
And faith lights the path anew
With a message for all to hear.

Thank you Lord for Christmastime
And may its truth forever chime.
To Old To Be Young

I'm to old to be young
to young to be old
stuck somewhere in between,
looking in the mirror
I know I've aged
but looking back at me,
is the child that once
frolicked through youth
not a worry nor a care,
every line on my face I've earned
as well as my silver hair.
I'm proud of who I am and
the person I've become,
a soul I hope the world will remember
to young to be old
to old to be young.

For every heart broken, a story is gained,
Every hypothetical forever I entertained,
Now merely an anecdote
Of how I used to dote
And I wrote, and I wrote
And I'm so sorry that all you are now
Is just another story I tell
Snow falls and coats this ugly world in a coat of white,
Clean, fresh, untouched
Bury it all
Smother this sadness with alabaster beauty
And when spring comes, maybe hope will follow
