Like and axe to wood
you cut out my heart
aligning it with yours

APPREHENSIVE I was
yet I succumb to your
keen feminine wiles

I'm all in until time
passes away and I
no longer exist for love.
For V.
Face 2 face
we engage
deep ocular
connection
peering into
one another's
love lost souls
clamoring for
endless affection
An ear whisper
sparks passion
sensual and soft
warm breath
raises neck hairs
stimulating
veins to release
carnal blood flow
Alert and aware
touching ensues
as it always does
Nature steps in
takes over to
reveal
JUST US.
For V.
In many ways we are different
color, race, ***, nationality and
heritage to name a few

The parallel is that we are similar
views, make up, character and
love of art, sports and culture

Many fail to understand our
connection and the levels that
it is built upon over time

Perfect, we are not... however
as a unit we move as one and
combine our strengths.
Never have I considered
mediocrity as a mandate

Always moving forward
adding tallies to my slate

Never have I considered
being reserve and low key

Always assisting other
with a property by the sea

Never have I considered
life without you as a whole

Always pursue your dreams
with blessed victory as the goal.
NO LIMITS
... my love for you

NO LIMITS
... in the tears I cry

NO LIMITS
... I wouldn't go to protect

NO LIMITS
... to fulfill your needs

NO LIMITS
... to educate my seed

NO LIMITS
... to lend a hand for peace

NO LIMITS
... to see global unrest cease

NO LIMITS
... in writing poems for you

NO LIMITS
... but for now, I'm trough.
No limits to the lengths I'd go through to...

Solitude I wear
      like a second skin
my biggest weakness
       my greatest strength
   wading through
quiet and tired
    in seclusion
 as dawn draws
    her arms around me
cold       and damp
    like the sea
           with no oil
for my lamp
       to light my way
through another
      dark    and lonely
November day.
Beloved,
In what other lives or lands
Have I known your lips
Your Hands
Your Laughter brave
Irreverent.
Those sweet excesses that
I do adore.
What surety is there
That we will meet again,
On other worlds some
Future time undated.
I defy my body's haste.
Without the promise
Of one more sweet encounter
I will not deign to die.
