In this winter of a lifetime and all the memories,
collected and arranged, another boring history
of this ordinary man

the harsh winds of love, have harden my soul
while the silent secrets of lovers remain, untold
of this ordinary man

that I walked many trails and set them ablaze
I'll blame them on youth, the fog and the haze
of this ordinary man

the education I found, was not from a book
It was wigging away, from my parents hook
of this ordinary man

my fingers not as nimble, as when I was young
the stature not as upright, the last song has begun
of this ordinary man

so I will turn out the lights
make sure the doors are locked
as I bid a final adieu
and a warm goodnight

oh, young robin, your daily apperance
I await
upon the rail, singing to the morning sun
and the newness of the day
stretch out your sleepy petals, beautiful rose
absorb the dew, capture the sunlight
as your fragrance lingers, for me and those
who've waited for you, from winter's night
the frozen piles that lay upon the corners
are dusted *****, the purest ****** white
melt away, to the dismay of winters mourners
the fragrance of spring, stimulates the mind
with each solo the robin sings
and each day the sun rises higher, we find
the warmth to start our new beginnings

there is a lonliness in her smile
yet her eyes twinkle with passion
her walk is a smooth glide
yet her confidence seems shaken
I sense a past full of uncertanty
as if she ask, '' did i do the right thing''
I can only listen, absorb our conversation
perhaps give some thoughts that I have
hoping there not as futile as I think they are
but I see in her, such a lovely being
one of the many of god's great creations
let not the roads of uncertainty find you alone
let not the hallow voices from alleyways sway you
discover yourself again, touch your soul again
your flaws may be many, others to percive
but I am blessed to have you in my life
my wonderful friend

shall I let you reshape me
pour the purest water upon me
peeling off the dying skin
as the worms feast on the remains
then you can mold me into the rich
textures of your deluded fantasies
and let loose your desires to curse me
hoping your hallow life will be free
yet this panoramic view of your creation
is all for naught, you forgot to give it life
you forgot to give it the colors of your love
you only gave it wisdom of who you are
as it watches the smoldering embers of you
fade away

they race past, mindless children
skateboards on slick pavement
past the stoic blinking eyes of
giant animated zoo animals
the people ducking in fetal positions
ducking the floating cars just above
as the striptease ladies in giant windows
perform for the pathetic, lonely men
in awe of their perfection

can I be the tree, filled with fruit
pluck one, taste the sweetness and
if you so desire, taste them all

can I be the warmth that soothes
your cold heart, of lost lovers
fading into the rust of your memories

can I be the promise of something new
a new melody from some lost song
the tingling of the suns rays upon you
in the hopes to lift your head up
to see we are not them, we are
you and I

between the sentences and paragraphs
were the commas and periods are misplaced
the chapters end in question marks

It seems ,you and I, are two of a kind
We ventured into love, again, one more time
our hearts beat fast, when they are near
all our lonliness we collected, dissapear

time and space collide, energy released
such a blinding light mute our senses
we want to be swept away by their solar whispers
feel the galactic ****** being pulled from us
an ever expanding passion that will never end

yet time is a constant and space is a vast place
our energy of love for them, dissapear to a black hole
so we search the universe for another blinding light
in hopes for an ever expanding passion that never end

were commas and periods are missplaced
the chapters end in question marks
