come now, let your sorrows rain upon me
so my roots can soak up your sadden tears
my canopy shall shade you from all that ails you
sleep awhile, dream of your desires
the twinkling stars silently light your soul afire
wake anew, invigorated, walk away refreshed
and always know I'll be standing here
tall and firm
with branches of hope and love

25% of me loves your smile
25% of me loves the beauty of your eyes
25% of me feels your tender touch
25% of me melts into your arms
100% of me surrenders to you

its early morn sitting on this sandy beach
your waves are my soothing touch
tickling my toes bring a smle to this face
your rythm is a constant
sure desire to calm my thoughts
when the fog evaporates, the cool breeze
penetrates my senses
hazy eyes clear as the sun's eyelids
open to warm the day
I started counting the grandules of sand
but realized that would take an eternity
time I don't have
the hope is that we can walk this shoreline
the footprints will dissolve into your
abyss
rearrange them and return them to us
on your soothing waves
let the ****** oath of desire like you
never end

go ahead my dear, reach back to the
past, if it comforts you
remember those bits and pieces
that made you smile
as you stare out into the distant
realize those times are gone
they have hitched a ride on that
memory train
that slowly fades away
yet trust yourself on your futures
path
let the colors illuminate your eyes
smell the scent
of confidence that invigorates you
move forward and embrace you

oh my beloved america, were have you gone
tell me you have't lost your way
I remember when you were young and strong
has that fearful day that finally touch our shores
turned us against us
did it dent our invincibility, expose our weakness
so now the colors won't mix any more
is suspicion now the norm
you don't look right, dress right
you know i am armed, so I carry that swagger
don't take from me, I'll put you down
I'ts my right
least us not forget we stoled this land from the
real americans, which makes us all immigrants
I dream that all the gods we worship will one day
rise above us into the stratasphere
look down upon us mere mortals
and cast down the final demand
finally respect and love one another
or you shall be cast as a frozen orb
to the darkest reaches of the universe

can you feel me wilt in your arms
as you layer me with your charms
my eyes glance at that smile
that holds me safe for awhile

I want to tell you what I'm thinking
but my voice lacks that inkling
as the corners of your eyes start crinkling
all I can do is keep my heart from sinking

hoping you will taste each nugget of me
absorb it all into your bloodstream
to savior those magical feelings
only to realize it's just the begining

gentile waves lap against me
tickle my senses with ectasy
hold me till they recede
damp erosion is what they leave
as I whimper come back

shall I leave for higher ground
to that sweet valley abound
craddle me in its hilly arms
listen to the serenade of sound
as I hear her whimper come back

this perpetual dream, that dominates
my every thought, hard to break
just let go, for sanity sake
come back to the my world, and create
as I whimper don't come back
