Do you ever space off,
and think about life?
About how it began,
or how you're alive.
It's kind of a puzzle,
or like a maze.
You start to go through it,
but can't find your way.
A puzzle with no box,
no easy way to do it.
Gotta make a lot of choices,
like how you're gonna go through it.
Puzzles can be hard,
when you lose some peices.
That's why its like life,
it cant be completed.
Pick up each peice,
that once was gone.
Your life may come together,
as you go on.
You'll find that person,
that turns on the light.
Puts your puzzle together,
and fits you right.

Always, Tameica Hammick
When i walked with you,
i felt so apart.
it had been so long,
i didnt know where to start.
Then you grabbed my hand,
and just from that touch.
what seemed so little,
had meant so much.
I feel so impatient,
as you keep me waiting.
You say you love me,
but that im still debating.
" I love you" are just words,
Words you have to show.
I wait for you to show me,
the things i still dont know.

Always,

You need to be forgiven,
for not being there for me.
Tell me how the situation,
the crisis that had.
was worth leaving your daughter,
to live without her dad.
Leave me swimmming in life's ocean,
every obstacle pulling me down.
Beacuse part of my family,
didnt wanna come around.
I can't say i know the reason,
for why you left me here.
I got told different answers,
to this day its still not clear.
Im asking you right now,
Because i need to know.
Why it was so easy,
for you to let me go.
Im not doing this for you,
Im forgiving you for me.
So i can become the woman,
Forgivness will help me be.

Always,

There comes a point in life,
when you find someone you love.
They wanna be more than friends,
but thats not what you're thinking of.
Putting yourself in the position,
where you might not ever be friends.
Is not what you applied for,
not a message you want to send.
You dont know how to tell them,
or even how to explain.
You try to walk it off,
but instead it starts to rain.
The weight upon your should,
with every footstep on the ground.
Each one seems to get heavier,
their voice the only sound.
Choices seem to be flowing,
inside your thought filled head.
Everystep picking your path,
for your journey up ahead.
Make sure you think things over,
before you break their heart.
There  comes a point  in  life,
when you can't always restart.

Always,

this is goood...
Enemies at first,
best friends the second time.
She's so much like me,
a couple years back in time.
Advice i give to her,
i know i should be taking.
for me its hard to do,
i guess cause id be faking.
The things we've both been through,
the feelings and the lies.
the choices that we made,
the times we both cried.
Attempting to help eachother,
get past what has begun.
just trying to get through,
what's already begun.

When i hangout with you,
the sky is not gray.
I walk around,
and think about my day.
But then i stop,
to look down at my feet.
and slowly realize,
theres no more heat.
i spread my arms wide,
but i pull them back in.
my body's so cold,
my head starts to spin.
I could barely feel my heart,
when i imagined him here.
with warm arms around me,
i whispered in his ear.
Listen  to these  words,
cause my heart is beating slow.
This could be our last hug,
so dont ever let me go..

ALways,
        Tameica Hammick
Deep  inside my hearts not beating,
but, picture this in your head.
a teenage little girl,
standing beside her bed.
She gazes out her window,
with the night sky up ahead.
She opens up her mouth,
but nothing is ever *said
.
Suddenly her mind went blank,
and all she could hear.
Was the beat of a silent drum ,(heart)
and the whoosh of a single tear.
She felt it roll off her cheek,
and listened but no sound.
Feeling her legs grow limp,
she slowly hit the ground.
She reaches out her hand,
but somone has to grab it.
Her  life is such a mess,
she just wants to get past it.
