wreathed violently ...

Death has brought
an Evil Sin, its cruelty
to my door
tore out my chest
my heart
& snatched away:

the very essence
of that which was
pure & perfect
in this Life
in this World
My Life's Love ...

Gone
Vanished
ripped & savagely torn
from my gasp
my touch
my arms
in a single
unrecognizable
guttural sound
deep within
& I knew not from wince
it came...

My God,
Jesus too wept.
