The Promise of Glory
Stu Harley Oct 2018
who
among us
is
ready to don
the
red cape
the
promise of glory
with
the
mighty wind at your back
face the slings and arrows of the world
claim every mountain and
walk through every valley
soar through the sky like the golden eagle
with a steel sword to fill your hand
place a golden helmet upon your head
yes
sing the words out loud
oh sweet glory...oh sweet glory
fill my goblet with nectar from the Gods above
and be not be afraid of the spiritual world
to walk through the valley of death unharmed
and secured by faith undone
to know the promise of glory exist
still, i am sure
enabled to plant the seeds of destiny
but
quench every man's heart
with sweet light
in the kingdom of God

Upon The Shores of Faith
Stu Harley Oct 2018
on the day of our Lord,
we anchored
our ships
upon
shores of faith
that carried us
through
the
dark wine sea
through
time and space
lord
give us this day
our daily bread
to
be worthy of thee
oh precious lord
we thank you
so much
for your
grace and mercy
forever and ever
in
your holy spirit
and
sweet holy name
hallelujah...hallelujah amen
Stu Harley Oct 2018
oh
my lord and royal majesty
my word is my bond
day is day
night is  night
faith have sight
and
with
the
sweetest moon
we share delight
yet
witness her holy light
surely
my
lord
i
bring you a shining night

Where Joy Begins
Stu Harley Oct 2018
oh joy
what precious thing here
on earth that we share
then
what is joy
really my friend
what is it
joy always comes in
the early morning
with the cheerful sun
and joy fills the heart up
with a glee and
a special kinda grin
but still, joy is sweeter
than  honey-maple syrup
where joy begins
with a snap crackle pop
and a wee
when you least expect it from me
let joy in

Above The Mountains Still
Stu Harley Oct 2018
We click our heels and wander still
through
the fields of chance.
We taste the spirit of gospel red roses.
while
I christen thee
in the name of glory.
but
Ask the sky
to place her love
above
the
glorious mountains still.
