moon shadow
whispered to me

wildly and uproariously

mouse pulls
his head
from
the jaws of a
ferocious lion
then
the mouse
poured himself
a glass of brandy
while
i laughed so hard
to keep me from crying

the
red tail hawk
shall
barrel through
the Breckenridge blue sky
like a cannonball on fire
thus
captures her prey
with desire
at the break of dawn

yesterday morning
even
the
snow white starlings
baptize
their wings
into
the
gospel white clouds

only the
lord knows
my situation

holy spirit
received in my soul

the
songbird sing
the song
"he lifted me"
well
the
cotton white clouds and the
blueberry sky
heard the song
all day long
