boy... don't you let
the
lefthand know
what the righthand
is doing and everything
will be alright
then
who shall
i
trust...just trust in the Lord

on the day of
the last supper
we
break bread with Jesus

I
sat by His right hand
and he always knew

that the flesh is
weak in mankind

He looked at me again
while
fresh eyes journeyed into my soul

there to find the reason
for the unholy betrayal

then
my soul replied in broken tears
for thirty shekels of gold

Walls I built, a fortress of my own,
Crumbled by affection, a love yet unknown.
Fear's iron grip, a cell I called my heart,
Shattered by tenderness, a brand new start.

Tears that once were prisons, now cleansing rain,
Washing doubt away, a sweet, gentle pain.
Vulnerability blooms, a fragile rose,
Love's sunlight breaks through, where darkness arose.

Free from isolation, a symphony plays,
A chorus of joy in love's vibrant maze.
When love breaks me free, wings begin to take flight,
Soaring on courage, bathed in golden light.

No need to bridge the space, no chasm to mend,
Love thrives in the distance, a bond that transcends.
The miles may stretch onward, a map yet unseen,
But hearts beat in rhythm, a constant, serene.

The space holds a beauty, a freedom to grow,
Each path is independent, where dreams freely flow.
Trust whispers like starlight, a beacon so bright,
Connecting our souls in the canvas of night.

Love isn't a tethered boat, chained to the shore,
Its galaxies are swirling, always.
In absence, we cherish, in silence, we hear,
Love is all the space between us, my dear.

When we cross the river of light, so bright,
Leaving shadows cast by the fading night,
Will burdens dissolve, like mist in the morn?
Will worries be whispers, forever unborn?

A current of peace, will it carry us on?
To meadows of solace, where worries are gone?
Will doubts be forgotten, like stars dimmed by day?
Replaced by a knowing, that lights up the way?

On that luminous shore, will we finally see
The answers we've craved, eternally?
Will hearts overflow, with love pure and deep,
As we cross the river of light and softly sleep?

As long as we know the compass spins true,
North may wander, but the heart will pursue.
Detours and storms may test us along the way,
But hand in hand, we'll find a brighter day.

Though shadows lengthen, doubts may take their stand,
As long as we know love lights the shifting sand,
We'll build a beacon, a fortress warm and bright,
Guiding each other through the darkest night.

For even when lost, a whisper can ignite,
As long as we know, together we take flight.

The wind whispers secrets through skeletal trees,
As we walk in the haunted rain, down lonely knees
Of cracked pavement. Each drop a whispered plea
From restless spirits, unseen eternally.

Headstones like teeth jut from the sodden ground,
Moss-covered whispers, a mournful, chilling sound.
Lightning cracks a sky, a fleeting, ghastly grin,
Reflecting in puddles where phantoms dance within.

Our footsteps echo, a hollow, rhythmic beat,
Accompanied by whispers, both mournful and sweet.
Is it just the rain, or a sigh on the breeze?
We walk in the haunted rain, hearts ill at ease.
