In the night
I have been thinking
When I sleep
I've been dreaming
About my old friends
No
It's not what you think
But can you believe
It's not a sound to be heard
My old friends are words
They make me whole
They fill the holes
That sadness can bring
Though my life is happier
The sadness is still a memory
A memory can be harmless
But it has the power to destroy
Or annoy
It all depends on your point of view
And few
Share mine
This time
I'll try to explain
My brain
And its happenings
A labyrinth
A maze
But I still have my friends
You chew them up
And you spit them out
And consider it speaking
Yet your logic is weakening
As you hear the truth
I have a task for you
To change that point of view
Assemble my old friends
And let's paint a picture

Big city life
Becoming stale
Zombies are all I see
Mutilated and pale
Hot sand
And cacti beckon me
Nothing here to lose
There I've found a muse
And the beckoning grows stronger
No longer
will I sift through the plastic
Feeling almost frantic
with want
A train being a liaison
For a new beginning
On and old horizon
for Tamara

And **** her "bestie"

**** my life
**** the strife
Take this knife
And ******* cut the pain away
**** my eyes

There is a face in my mind
Difficult to find
A girl who should be mine
A world thats out of time
It's a crime
I find
To not share these rhymes
I wonder why
I try
so hard just to find
A vanishing face
Deep in my mind

Sleep
Creeps
Into my eyes
Lies
Fly
Around me
Carnage
and Disorder
Worldliness
Godliness
Gone without a trace
Dreaming silently
Sweetly
Only of your face
And I scream

Dearest Darkness
Dearest Darkness
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me?
The world is in disarray
The nearest and farthest
Can you help me?
I will fight
Repair it anyway?
And no one cares
The world is living
The world is dead
But only slightly
Can we help ourselves?
Can we stop it?
Can you speak to me?
On what must happen
