tidal waves

starting from the bottom,
    a life time
ago, inside backstabbers feeling the aftermath.
raising in anger

the sky above, gone so long.
lifted to

a journey of endless time, skies as dark as,
a blackened out knight.

a thief, not realising the fight,
                                                  that you daily gave flight.

academia loses me, swamping my left side,
my brain is crawling.

a right sided force to be reckoned with,
a release from the monotony of one
                                                           two
                                                                 three, safety in numbers.

war of the world ensues, it's a game of thrones.

red versus blue, black versus white,
knowing I always saw,
the creativity in,
                            me.

Probably one of the oddest poem I have ever written!
If you have to go to the beach
Where the blue bends down to the sea
The eyes far the waves outreach
Salt sprays gurgle in glee,

Find the time to take a ride
Miles down the city’s edge
Over the greens of countryside
Past huts with thicket’s hedge!

When you pass the winding stream
See winds on the bloated sail
Hear boatman’s tune of forlorn dream
Catch a village belle with her pail,

Find the time to stop a while
Watch the sun shine her grace
Forget travails of the bumpy miles
Smell the dew on her labored face!

If the white clouds sail the sky
Bewitch you the rustic way
Break your path make a valiant try
Seize that moment of the passing day,

See in her eyes the river’s tale
In her hair the flower’s bloom
Feel in her breath love’s rapturous gale
Her desire’s rainbow plume!

Rue not the time lost on the way
For you paused for the boatman’s song
Viewed her frame molded in clay
As the river brought her along,

Regret not if you are late for the beach
Where the blue bends down to the sea
Think of the chance that brought to your reach
A glimpse of eternity!
I use these views to choose the words which follow on
and if no views then it is if that I am gone
from memory,
remember me?
addiction free,
except for alcohol and nicotine and some things best not talked about, some things I think are best unseen except by me and
she,my Queen.
Amused by views I sometimes lose perspective and get far too big to fit my boots, but
I come from humble roots and humbler stock and so have learnt to lock my vanity away, yet
this I say
(because no one else will,)
I'll write until my blood turns blue,I'll write with ink and water too and if you choose to not take peeks or views
you lose.

You're a hardback book:
the coffee table photography type that
sits awaiting the agreeable eyes
of someone who likes what is inside.

Can I fall through into your black and white world
and stay there warm until the history books
catch up with me?

Because if I don't I fear I'll forget your face
and if you're ever on a shelf, with a Waterstones
recommendation below, and I fail to notice you
how can I ever learn again?

I daydream f a r  too much.

My eyes must have been kissed by the starry sky

& ampersand &

the wispy clouds are tickling the very tip of my nose,

and
oh
yes,

I am on my tiptoes.
Hi there!
x
I hope *crosses fingers* that you, you and you enjoyed this little nonsensical writing!
Eeek. I get so excited and happy share these little writings. Perhaps it's the fact, I am shyly showing you bits and stitches of my heart on the other side of the earth?
Much Love,
A'manda

Silence has opened it's mouth,
I unfold before it,
Strands come undone,
The story of a man gets swallowed,
The strength of my youth falls with the wind,
A veil takes the stars from me

After Sunday you stink of hypocrisy
Please don't waste your breath preaching to me
To me it's one big joke
as you line up for the punch line
Wearing your see through clothes
and flaunting your plastered eyes
Keep funding your guilt
as I kick back and criticize
Pockets full of change
I wound not spare a dime
