True, ‘twas upon a night cold that I was born
but in time I became a radiant rose upon the rocky road of thorns,
From morn to dusk does time trickle and tick,
My heartbeat full of love’s delightfully tender tricks,

I grow bolder with the seasons,

Alas, all too soon am I to be sacrificed at the altar of love’s high treason,
I totally trusted you in my love’s romantic quest
but you were not one in the way of love truly blessed,
The age of years passes by and high
as the days darken and softly sigh and die,
I know soon, all too soon,
I shall embrace the earthy embrace of death’s darkling doom,

Days go flashing by in the beating of a butterfly’s wings,
Upon the cherry trees the ropes swings and no child sings,
It was here, yes right here, this was the place,
This will be my final resting place,
Never again will I in the summer in this place my shadow trace,
My face and red lips forever fated to be lined with love’s wrinkled hate,

No more, please no more of this maudlin talk,

My flame still brightly glows and I still skip and happily walk,
Perhaps the days darken dreadfully outside
but here I am all warm and snugly seduced in my mind inside,
The world weeps, the shadows creep, but I smile and myself treat,
I will not cry, nor quietly die, I will spread my wings and soar and fly high,
Days, weeks, years, the way ahead, paths full of passionate flowers,
I will live my life and never fear death’s wintry power,

This is my destiny, my torch, my song of songs,
I will look to the sky again and with my eyes kiss the golden clouds,
I shall play the music plucked upon the meadows of yesteryear,

Until my eyes to the twilight finally close
I will bow only to my Beloved, the Lord of heaven’s rose,
Come bless this day with the colours of paradise,
Paint me the memory of the day when we all once again rise,
I will return to my Beloved, to only Him will I submit my soul and free will,
In that abode where the divine resides I shall have my dreams fulfilled,

Remember me,

Remember me,

Remember me,

In dreams, come to me in dreams,
And to me hum and sing a birthday hymn.

i will wade out
till my thighs are steeped in burning flowers
I will take the sun in my mouth
and leap into the ripe air
                                       Alive
                                                 with closed eyes
to dash against darkness
in the sleeping curves of my body
Shall enter fingers of smooth mastery
with chasteness of sea-girls
                                            Will i complete the mystery
                                            of my flesh
I will rise
               After a thousand years
lipping
flowers
And set my teeth in the silver of the moon

I want to taste your delicious basket of ripe red fruit
Which drips with the aroma of an ageless golden summer,
Warm honeydew tantalizes my barren tongue
And enriches the roots of my parched soul,
Your orchard is blessed with succulent charms,
Pearled flaxen curls encircle the gorgeous bewitching branches,
Leaves beautifully green and bold orchestrate the
Choir of sweet nature to a rapturous symphonic crescendo.

Kneeling,
I enter the kingdom of your supple flower garden,
Looking,
I am astounded by the silken beauty and curvaceous bliss,
Birds of wondrous paradise float before my amazed eyes,
Colours of the rainbow glaze my sight with contentment,
The sound of your breathing fires my imagination and
I unravel the mysteries of your unexplored depthless universe.

Biting deep into the amber nectar I taste your husky fruits,
I take my fill of your heavenly food,
It restores, refreshes, nurses and sustains me,
My senses are heightened and my experience sharpened,
In return I offer you my heart and you drink lovingly of
My desires contained within this butterfly cup of life,
This chamber of fertile dreams and everlasting
Passion fruit.

Exploring further I find your Eden has no limitations,
Boundaries are only erected by our imagination,
I search softly with practiced fingers to find your
Velvet spirit in this empire of dazzling jewels,
Your rose flavoured apples glint in the morning sunlight,
Their juice sparkles as it drips down my throat to
Tickle the hunger of my now heated soul,
Aromatic mists caress my nostrils and
I satisfy my senses at this exquisite banquet of ecstasy.

I trace my tongue across the purple peaks of your pomegranates,
The burgundy juice tattoos your desire into my soul,
The grapes of your insatiable dreams leak with pleasure,
I feel the moist heat rising and your lips parting
As I explore the fibres of your existence,
There are beads of beauty in your diamond shaped melons,
I slide through the doors of your soft and ripe pear,
And your breath comes fast and hard as I plough deeper and deeper.

Travelling to my journey’s ****** I am excited to a liquid frenzy,
My desire is to remain lost in your voluptuous forbidden city,
My aim is to become one with you and stay there for evermore,
The paths, alleyways, marble arches, golden halls, curved architecture,
The blue skies and fountains entice me, all of your charms plead to me,
You whisper hoarsely to me, “Stay awhile yet",
I want to remain within my lady of these most wondrous and precious treasures.

Soaring to mountains where even eagles dare not surmount
I reach my life bursting ambitious decision,
The rain of my throbbing soul at first drizzles, then showers before pouring
Molten honey over your fertile garden of life,
These drops of salt sweetened rain are graciously and hungrily received,
They seep into your moist soil to feed young peacock coloured seeds
Which will one day spring forth and be born as
Colourful and majestic flowers.

I am content and happy now,
More happier than the music of a mute swan,
I admire my sultry flower resting beside me and
I inhale her purple perfumed beauty,
The restoration of my starving soul is now complete,
I am sated and will remember this magnificent bouquet till the end of time,
I promise to become a gardener
In her generous Paradise,
Let me begin by composing an
Ode to my hyacinth.

The sand slipped out of my hands
Bit by bit
Holding on to you
Feels like
A heart in closed fist
It’s paining
More, if I let it go…

Dreams came crashing down
On all sides
While silence prevailed
In the shatters
I grew weak
Bit by bit
In my love

Woke up in the morning
Got ready to dress
Put on the shoes that you loved
Got out the shirt you liked
Went on hanging around the eating place
That holds your memories
Bit by bit

And I lost my appetite
And you
Just empty spaces
Drained, Bit by memory bit
And I lost my self too

I lie on the stones
Dying
The eagles circle around in the cloudless sky
With stones in their claws
Ready to drop
On my soul
Crunching my senses with the final blow
I wait for death

A traveler passes by
And I request him
To stop me
From drying up
I have lost my love
My will to fight
The overhead circling death and harsh sun

And...
“how can he stop me from drying up"
In this harsh heat of hate and lost love
Even the cold earth is no longer cold
Baked up sand, and wilted love
Form the fabric of my deathbed

The stone leaves the claw
Rushing down to the heart
I raise myself a little more
Trying to meet half way
The Hell of pain
To liberating soul
And it missed
And in the mist of drummed up sadness
And of churned up dust
A voice reverberates
“Take the drop of water to the sea
To keep it from ever drying up"

The eternal
Is in sea of love
In the arms of lover
In the heat of love
Love survives
In the hearts of soul
Who belongs to one
