grasping at the past, heavy of heart
and shocked; paralyzed
wishing for wings,
to fly in my dreams,
find that castle in the sky

travel through the vortices
of interconnected minds
there, you, I’d find,
my world divine

my love, accosted
ever lost

my muse
who’s left behind

and
forever shifting is the heart
ever yet never drawn apart
so bound are we
o, me to thee
such (pressed in pressure)
encounters brief

like lightning in my mind’s eye
to see the air electrified
whenever your eyes meet mine
hovering; swimming in ethereal fluid
surging with infinity’s energies

yet
arching in my back
a miasma of light
erupting from the heart

out of the eyes

stranded, abandoned
drifting in the void
crippled
by the weight of indiscretion

longing
for such loves forever lost
such levity intrinsically bestowed upon me

whence coalescence splits bereft
by weight of evanescent fate
and there is nothing left
not love nor hate
am I too late?
am I too late?

Caught like silk in rose thorn agony,
I pull my arm free of your chains.
Streams of diluted delusions flow from behind my eyes
As they stare into yours, searching, pleading for answers.

Your newest **** waltzes out of my room,
Bare legs and arms like fresh globs of cream,
A quivering voice of lavender.
"Darling?"
You consume her with your eyes,
What we were long forgotten.

Having my answers, I take my leave.
Shedding layers of bandages and spackle,
I let myself feel how you've hurt me.

Was she worth it?
I don't wanna know.

Rushing downhill around thin, swirling roads-
I close my eyes and exhale everything you've done.
The Release.
My chevy smashes through the guardrail,
My skull takes a jolt to the wheel,
-
And I fly into the abyss,
Free as a bird.

cotton blue skies
cigarette smoke clouds
parted lips;
but they spill blood
severed fingers that i'll swallow
indirectly
nervous eye contact
because my brain is a little skewed
you say you don't mind
but i know you do
bathroom tiles are my best friends
real friends hurt like [that]
i want to dissolve like pills in water
to dive into ice blue oceans
and sink down to you
chain me to the bottom
of your ribs

hills of silent nodding flowers
stealing turpentine kisses under peach trees
pointed lips like butterfly wings
her quiet smile fluttered my heart
rippling rose petals upon clear wax waters
gently tangled together like knotted yellow string
ruffled clothing, hair, flora everywhere
her knowing eyes spoke poetry in my skin
it was then that i decided to live
