Alone at last,
Where I peacefully lay on my brown leather couch,
And contemplate about my past.

Beautiful baby from the outside in,
You'll be safe in my arms with a side of gin.

I listened to the tone of your voice,
From far out in the distance,
I heard an unbeatable sound thereafter,
I missed you, in an instant.

I thought of you after I woke up,
Smiling beautifully down at me,
Through my large opaque cup.
