Slipping away
pouty princess Mar 2014
Tired, weary eyes,
Drowning in her image,
      Scared of her reflection,
      All of the decisions.
A bony body,
Tearing at its own flesh,
Always being blamed,
Always being left.
One day the body couldn't go on,
You know it's the end, you must move on.
As she slips away you hold her tight.
Wanting to tell how beautiful she was in your sight.
Feeling the rough skin go cold and pale.
You know it's too late, her organs have failed.

Don't bring yourself down
pouty princess Mar 2014
Darling don't bring yourself down,
Your beauty speaks louder than words,
Your personality is charming,
The way you smile could light up this whole town.

Stop worrying about your hair, weight, and image.
Stop trying to impress that one popular guy that'll only hurt you.
Stop trying to make yourself someone you aren't.

Darling, to me you're a beauty queen.
No one compares to you.
You're unique,
You're you,
You're beautiful.

Covering up it all
pouty princess Mar 2014
A girl who cried herself a river.
Hid her deepest fears.

Had so many sorrows,
Nobody was ever there.

All she wanted was a friend,
Someone very kind,
To listen to her problems,
To help her through lonely nights.

She pulled down her long sleeves while walking down the halls.
Covering up the marks, covering up it all.

Fighting to find her way,
Trying to hide the pain.
She hurts,
She breaks.

Snowflakes
pouty princess Mar 2014
Snowflakes dancing from the sky,
Delicately falling into the palm of your hand,
Melting, as if a broken heart,
Sparkling, reminding you of the stars above.

Ice kissed by the little words they speak,
A time to spend with someone you love.
So pure, so white,
The most beautiful creation.

Delicacy of this one tiny flake,
Will eventually fall and only break.
This unique one of a kind,
Peaceful, bringing bliss.
One tiny snowflake, one tiny kiss.

Broken
pouty princess Mar 2014
Just a sad girl,
Soaking the pillow with tears,
The time getting wasted sad within the years.

So lonely, so broken,
Always let down.
wanting someone to turn her life around.

Same old lessons,
Same exhausted heart.

Nothing has changed,
Will it ever?

Time is flying and shes not getting better.

Lust and passion,
Corrupted by illusions.

With her soul more broken than her heart.
Pages are turning and getting torn apart.

As she tried getting better,
She ended up in a grave, gone forever.

Falling snowflake
pouty princess Mar 2014
I saw a snowflake fall,
Past memories it recalled.

The snow fell to the ground,
So quietly without a sound,

An untouched cover until the dawn,
the sun arose it was soon gone.

Thinking of friendships in the past,
Seemed perfect although they didn't last.

So quickly life can take a turn,
Slowly we do seem to learn.

So many things in life can change,
Suddenly becoming rearranged.

The things that we have overlooked,
Ignored, rejected or mistook.

As melted snow turns to slush,
Relationships slowly turn to dust.

This year, this holiday,
Praise God for the blessings gave.

Let's be the most that we can be,
For all our friends and family.

Unlike the snowflake on the ground,
Let's keep in touch and stay around.

Powdered perfect
pouty princess Mar 2014
A dreary, misled world,
With black and lonely thoughts,
A fearful destructive mind,
Caused by this ruthless uncaring stage.

Having shadows and pain for eyes,
In this dark, torturous world.

I keep my paintbrush with me,
In case I need to cover up,
So the real me doesn't show.

Powdered perfect, over pale, hollow skin.

Sweet serenity
pouty princess Mar 2014
Crispy air brushes through
                                       the spaces between my fingers.

Howling of the wind rushes through my body,
                                                                   sending shivers up my spine.

The intensity of the ominous clouds arise,
now filling in what was once serenity in the sky.

Porcelain mask
pouty princess Mar 2014
I don't recognize myself anymore,
I hide behind a porcelain mask.
Gluing a smile to my face.
Every second of everyday.

If you look deep enough you can see the pain and suffering in my eyes.
To only look for the same old lies.

Hunger pains hurt,
But starving works.

I'm trying to be the thinnest of them all.
Living off barely any calories,
My body's wasting away.

Feeling empty and incomplete,
I don't know how I manage to stay on my feet.

I'm scared to take a bite of food,
Not knowing what it might do.
It'll help my body, but I can't take the risk.
This is horrifying I'd rather feel bliss.

Bones
pouty princess Mar 2014
Bones are beautiful,
Rather so sweet.
They are so lovely,
Through their iridescent peaks.

I admire collarbones,
Wrists so small.
Wrapping my hand around them,
The beauty of it all.

Hipbones sticking out,
Pure and sharp,
I love the way it feels,
Beauty of the art.

My love
pouty princess Mar 2014
My love for you is unbearable,
The way you make me feel is inevitable.
Soft, tenderness in your voice.
A gentle, embracing smile of joy.
The little words of serenity you speak.
How you say 'I love you' making me weak.
I need your love and I need your time,
You feed my heart, soul, and mind.
         Our souls are intertwined,
      And Our hearts dance together.
              Please don't leave.
               Not now, not ever.

My worst enemy
pouty princess Mar 2014
Weakness grows and lies within me,
Needing to be skinny,
Needing to be mini.

Constantly controlled by my dear friend Ana.
She tells me I'm fat,
That my weight is too high.
She says that she'll **** me,
That soon I will die.

I step on the scale,
Dreading what I see.
Too big of numbers,
My worst enemy.

love & fire
pouty princess Mar 2014
Love is fire burning bright,
Fulfilling with passion and lust,
Yet dangerous.
Love leaves your soul flaming,
Left to bleed.

Fire is the burning tenderness,
The power of love can smolder the flame or ignite it.
It ceases to live for the moment in hope and fear.
Fire consumes,
Fiery can leave blazing scars.

Open your heart
pouty princess Mar 2014
You think of this person
on every occasion and in
everything you do.

You open your heart knowing
that there’s a chance it may
be broken one day and in
opening your heart,
you experience a love and
joy that you never dreamed
possible.

You find that being vulnerable is
the only way to allow your heart to
feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you.

You find strength in knowing you
have a true friend who will remain
loyal to the end.

Life seems completely different,
exciting and worthwhile.
Your only hope and security
is in knowing that they are a
part of your life.
