Tired, weary eyes,
Drowning in her image,
      Scared of her reflection,
      All of the decisions.
A bony body,
Tearing at its own flesh,
Always being blamed,
Always being left.
One day the body couldn't go on,
You know it's the end, you must move on.
As she slips away you hold her tight.
Wanting to tell how beautiful she was in your sight.
Feeling the rough skin go cold and pale.
You know it's too late, her organs have failed.

Darling don't bring yourself down,
Your beauty speaks louder than words,
Your personality is charming,
The way you smile could light up this whole town.

Stop worrying about your hair, weight, and image.
Stop trying to impress that one popular guy that'll only hurt you.
Stop trying to make yourself someone you aren't.

Darling, to me you're a beauty queen.
No one compares to you.
You're unique,
You're you,
You're beautiful.

A girl who cried herself a river.
Hid her deepest fears.

Had so many sorrows,
Nobody was ever there.

All she wanted was a friend,
Someone very kind,
To listen to her problems,
To help her through lonely nights.

She pulled down her long sleeves while walking down the halls.
Covering up the marks, covering up it all.

Fighting to find her way,
Trying to hide the pain.
She hurts,
She breaks.

Snowflakes dancing from the sky,
Delicately falling into the palm of your hand,
Melting, as if a broken heart,
Sparkling, reminding you of the stars above.

Ice kissed by the little words they speak,
A time to spend with someone you love.
So pure, so white,
The most beautiful creation.

Delicacy of this one tiny flake,
Will eventually fall and only break.
This unique one of a kind,
Peaceful, bringing bliss.
One tiny snowflake, one tiny kiss.

Just a sad girl,
Soaking the pillow with tears,
The time getting wasted sad within the years.

So lonely, so broken,
Always let down.
wanting someone to turn her life around.

Same old lessons,
Same exhausted heart.

Nothing has changed,
Will it ever?

Time is flying and shes not getting better.

Lust and passion,
Corrupted by illusions.

With her soul more broken than her heart.
Pages are turning and getting torn apart.

As she tried getting better,
She ended up in a grave, gone forever.

I saw a snowflake fall,
Past memories it recalled.

The snow fell to the ground,
So quietly without a sound,

An untouched cover until the dawn,
the sun arose it was soon gone.

Thinking of friendships in the past,
Seemed perfect although they didn't last.

So quickly life can take a turn,
Slowly we do seem to learn.

So many things in life can change,
Suddenly becoming rearranged.

The things that we have overlooked,
Ignored, rejected or mistook.

As melted snow turns to slush,
Relationships slowly turn to dust.

This year, this holiday,
Praise God for the blessings gave.

Let's be the most that we can be,
For all our friends and family.

Unlike the snowflake on the ground,
Let's keep in touch and stay around.

A dreary, misled world,
With black and lonely thoughts,
A fearful destructive mind,
Caused by this ruthless uncaring stage.

Having shadows and pain for eyes,
In this dark, torturous world.

I keep my paintbrush with me,
In case I need to cover up,
So the real me doesn't show.

Powdered perfect, over pale, hollow skin.
