Imagine; just imagine
Balancing on:
Everlasting clouds made out of cotton candy
Nodding off in:
Homes that are of ginger bread
Skimming through:
Green grasss  made out of tropical kiwi frosting
Driving on:
Roads that are built of grahm crackers
Supper, supper that are
Non human walking, talking deserts
The dreams that civilians dream
Are as realistic as they come for dreamers
Are called a dream that when you wake
Its reality a reality that turns into
De ja vu!

Wounded

I have got through life like a wounded animal.

Head down, avoiding further conflict.

When I look back on it all, I see no trace of me, no flattened grasss, no displacement.

Even the air remains undisturbed.

I want to come back as a crazy African rhino with a arrow lodged in his ear.

sometimes at 3 O'clock in the morning
i have been to wander myself in the air
congratulating my skin newly each stride
kissed with air stroking gently over

                                           the soft chortle
                                                    of my feet
                                                         who wrestle

Start Again
Jay Jimenez Jun 2013
I just wanna dance
in the tall grasss
and really just take one day
to not care about anything
except the wind on my back
and poison ivy of coarse
I wanna sit on a dock and just rub my toes on the surface of the water.
I wanna just run wild and sit on my favorite hill and smoke cigs
I wanna have a silent nap
and hear the birds chirp
and the woodpeckers peck.
I wanna feel the suns rays on my tan flesh
and I wanna eat a apple right from the branch.
I'm tired of money, the time clock, and looking at my watch as
it slowly ticks and tocks my life away.
I wanna be free
I wanna be unchained
by this life lines
with no way of connecting the dots
it seems I just keep
on searching
and searching
for something
that I'm sad to say
I might never find.
But I know my destiny
is out there waiting under a rock
and all its gonna take is my big toe
to run into it
and my hand to lift that rock up
and toss it into the air.
Underneath will be my fate
it will be laying there
waiting
just as I was waiting
its waiting.
