I shut my eyes to block them out,
But their screams howl so ******* loud,
My nights turn sleepless,
My heart yearns sweetness,
Empty souls overdose,
Verities exposed.
Take me with you.

Raising his hand
moving from the desk
as spitballs fly
and notes are passed

Chasing his tale
in make believe endings
with a princess in pink
draped on his arm

snickers and snorts bellow
his train of thought
traveling off track temporarily,
temporarily

Dancing at midnight
drifting the seasons
on a feather boa mattress
pearlescent skin and fingers

silence gathers around
heavy breaths float
eyes squint, trying to focus
not his, theirs

Drawbridge openings explored
present tense heartbeats
sundown desires drip
saturating the scabbard

Homework is sidelined
jealous boys, intrigued girls
as curiosity peaks and biology
is not just a subject anymore

at the front of the classroom
writing in black chalk
so the rest of the class
cannot see

but he can

*oh he can

Why is it that when I ***** up,
someone above me always seems
to be ******* down?

In the deepest part of the sea,
The sky brings away the glee.
You are the cry that I be,
And the hope that has flee.

As wine I have treasured,
Fragile glasses against pressure,
You are the time I never measured,
And the pain of simple gesture.

Of tongue that has tangled,
I feel as if, strangled.
The fire always rattled,
And yet you haven't prattled.

At the brim of the ocean depths,
The stars cry for the sky, of its death.
Swaying above the panting waves,
You grab on me as I sink below.

A dark and gloomy morning
sits outside my window,
as my horizon awaits your smile
so another beautiful day can begin
