I'm looking at you through the glass.
The spectrum is changing; fading.
You're skin, as beautiful as porcelain. The very features that make up your being; chiseled as if by a sculptor. The beauty that once was, and still is, is fading. Not as if to disappear, but enough to morph the simple idea of the person you once were. The glass is the mirror into which  I am staring. I am you. You are me. I am noticing the beginning signs of losing myself. Once more. I can't stop it this time.

Do not touch
my scaly, wounded heart
Do not kiss my cheek
or hold my hand
or comfort me when I cry
You know not what I feel
nor what I see
nor dream
nor yearn
You cannot hear my mind
You cannot touch my soul
You do not know how I feel
Stop pretending like you do
Stop
lying
to me.
My scars are in full view
My heart is wounded and shattered
Do not try to heal me
Do not try to appease me
I just want you to hear me.
This poem was written in a very dark moment on April 4, 2013.
I love someone on TV
I’m half convinced that he loves me.
He never calls, or texts, or writes
I only see him Thursday nights.
He never looks me in the eye
In fact he often walks on by
From scene to scene, from girl to girl
Like he can’t see me in his world
He says his lines (yeah, it’s all script)
And I can’t get enough of it!
At the point when I feel done
He wants to, you know, be “the one”
The hero, yeah, the only guy
As if on cue, he starts to cry.
**** it all, I love this man!
He’s got this Emmy in the can…
“In love someone on TV?”
Not really but I outta be
All that nothing that I get
I’m tired of your disrespect-
It’s over.
…P.S. I remembered you only read poems that rhyme. Enjoy.

Where is my someone?

Someone to care for me.
Someone to hold me.
Someone to love me.
Someone to know me.

Someone...

Someone...

Who will love me,
Protect me,
Miss me.

Where is someone to reach out to me?
Someone to care that I reach back.

How can someone so in need of love
Be left so alone.
How can someone so capable of love
Live such a cold detached life.

Who will wipe my tears,
Hold me close,
Make love to me,
Keep me safe.

Who cares
We love to laugh together
and play our favorite music too
We like to dance together
and tickle eachother
You gaze into my eyes
and I gaze into yours
We love to smile big
and cuddle for a long period of time
These are the things we do together
and i love it
You said I was your favorite taste
Of cigarettes and whiskey
So I'm begging you to kiss me gently
Because I'm longing to kiss your velvet lips
And feel your breath against my neck
I want to taste the venom on your lips and the poison on your tongue
So lay me down
Like you do in my dreams
And rest your hands on my legs
Until your fingernails are cutting into me making me bleed
And when I look into your eyes filled with pools of shadow
I question if you're a blessing or a curse
And then I ask you again,
Take my body
And make my wild weird dreams come true

madness?
where are you?
where did you go?
there you are
my sweet darling
so warm so soft
yet so cold and hurtful
hey don't ignore me
please don't leave me
where did you go?
where are you?
madness?

we are here
we have always been here
but they haven't noticed us yet
its not there time
we are ghosts

we sit quietly in every room
as time passes by
but we were left unnoticed
we are ghosts

It never ends
we watch
we observe
and we try
can't you see
we are ghosts

we speak but our little voices can't reach you
we yell, we scream, we shriek
why can't you hear us
we are ghosts

we seek your attention
we need to be heard
please open your eyes and see
don't leave us alone
we are ghosts

we don't want to be alone
not here
not in the dark
knowing so much
we are ghosts

and we ghosts
are invisible souls
who cannot live
easily forgotten
because we are ghosts
