there must have been
a gas leak
or some drug in my drink

I think
but nothing comes to me
what shall I do all day?
gawky morbidity; decay
on this sticky hot sofa
an idiot sits like a rock

blocked and sterilized
I just can't seem to figure it
'move one leg,
at a time'

but it's like I'm laying on a big gob
of pink bubblegum
and I've nowhere to run

the cushions, the cushions
comfy & yet
closing in on me
what the hell,
am I crazy?
mood-trap
There once was a girl who would cry,
And every night she'd go home
And wish she would die
One day came home form school
And took out her tool
To find out cutting is the most ultimate high
I don’t remember you
I don’t remember how,
You kissed me, or
How we spent countless
Hours on the phone.
The long hugs we shared
Just seem like faint dreams
In the back of my mind.
Not my memories
Of what use to be.

I don’t remember you,
How you made me laugh
For no reason at all.
How I got so nervous
By just seeing you.
It’s almost like
You don’t exist in me
Anymore

But there are things
I do remember
Like how you said,
We’d still be friends,
That you’d still care
And always be there.

So where are you now?
While I’m right here,
Holding the pieces
Of what you gave me
And you’re with her
Giving away what
Should have been
Mine

Would you even care to know
That I’m better off now?
Without your memory,
Without you holding me back.
I’m not like I was when I was with you.
I no longer hold back.
I’m comfortable in my own skin.
Would you even care
To know that
I’m in love
With your best friend?
I** know I'll live with this mistake this time,
Can't blame you for hating me now.
Blame me for it all,
You were perfect for me,
For me you did everything,
This is less than deserved
I'm not going to ask you back,
Sorry that you ever chose me.

They say, no man is an island
Yet an island can be reshaped
By a tornado, hurricane, or a earthquake
Mother nature rules with an iron fist
To place her stakes on the land of the living

They say, no man is an island
But there must be a better way
For other nations and countries
Come together and embrace
To restructure our governments,
Working together, rebuilding, maybe, even see
The humanity in eachother giving
To help those, who can not help themselves

They say, no man is an island
All the justice and laws in the world
Wouldn't correct it's poverty
In exchange, for it's wealth
Animated politicians
Speaking in tongues
Atoned to be totally clueless
Unaware of the next existing
Killer of lives

They say, no man is an island
To forsee at last
Battle of waves of storms to come
Genocide, Nuclear, Wars
Will come again, and again
History repeats, in cirlces
It never ends

They say, no man is an island
The inadequate versions of getting things right
Should be a must, for the change with truth and trust
People having the will or the lack of
Food, water, protection, health care
That ain't right
To not be inform and share

They say, no man is an island,
But there's just has to be a better way
People taken care of people
Living life better than it once was yesterday
Families who have lost, buried, and shed many of tears
Placed their memories of loved ones
To cross over into the light
Have lost more than just a home, family, neighbors
One thing one must not lose is
The spirit inside to have

They say, no man is and island
For every man, woman and child
Is of the land of their island
Hope is not ones plan alone
The plan simply is of many...

Faith, Memories, Freedom, Dreams, and Hope

Her lips have that clever smile
She doesn't know what's in her drink
Nor does she really care.
He's watching her, she's losing it.
He hands her that bag of golden brown
She drowns it in her veins

Everyone wants to be her,
Following in her wake
Destruction, mishaps.
She wants her escape,
That purple haze just isn't enough

It's in her water,
She doesn't know
She's having too much fun to notice
He throws an arm around her waist
To keep her from falling into window panes

She's a lying waste of space,
Her purity is lost,
All she's tastes are her drugs.
Everyone's starting to call her bluff
X
Naked, she was naked
though her clothes were quite the fashion,
(but naked, she looked naked
in that glare of radiation.)

Skin, she's got no skin
and her body seems transparent
(see, her skin and blood and muscles
disappear at higher frequencies.)

Bones, those must be bones,
but her flesh and hair are missing!
(cause her flesh is not magnetic
and our eyes are too selective.)
