Roshan Mar 2017
Tossed and thrown onto its shores,
the sea of love abandoned him for dry,
taking with her his hunger and senses,

Wanting not to remember,
he looked up at the world and begged

'Give me all your work,
I will be your man,
Your unbreakable rock,
Your maker and destroyer of worlds'

slide the edge and swish...
there goes the sprouting thread,
red, thin, settled as spots
on my denim not so blue now
on my arms of fainting red,
soon to be white lifless meat
to serve the waiting wild beast
Roshan Mar 2017
I missed you in the summer evening
I waited for the face of the moon
Wondering if it would be yours
If she would give me a direction

Then I remembered you had sent me away
To never be in love again
To a place of no touch
Except for your love that will return myself to me
