Tryst
The bird has flown far far from home
where none will ever find her;
she left behest a vacant nest,
and crumbs as a reminder
of all the things her mighty wings
have borne of her creation,
and now she's gone to fly anon
and left a ruination

Far far from home the bird has flown
and time is ever fleeting,
a vacant nest she left behest
in silence of her beating
her mighty wings; of all the things,
she knows the sheer elation
to fly anon, and now she's gone
to seek her own salvation
This great purple butterfly,
In the prison of my hands,
Has a learning in his eye
Not a poor fool understands.

Once he lived a schoolmaster
With a stark, denying look;
A string of scholars went in fear
Of his great birch and his great book.

Like the clangour of a bell,
Sweet and harsh, harsh and sweet.
That is how he learnt so well
To take the roses for his meat.

The Noose
Baptise me
In the glow
Of your halo
Traces of euphoria
Courses through my blood
A riot in my head births
As I recall the day
You marched
Into my hollow
Inflaming
A magnificent tempest
That fill the pages
Of all that I write
Your words
Weaved into the intricate spaces
Of my impenetrable heart
To leave it radiating
Unimpeded adoration.

Sirenes
In the silence of the night
Blissful unravelling of the mind
I run down a sand road
The kind they have everywhere
In this forest covered land
Chasing the girl in the white dress
Her hair dancing on her back
She turns to glance at me
I reach out and grab her shoulder
She turns to face me
My reflection smiles at me
Then laughs my laugh
Smiles my smile
With my mischievious smirk on her face
She chuckles
"Tag you're it!"
A dream I had when during my turbulent teenage years. Could barely keep myself in check lol

I didn't even break skin
That doesn't count does it?
