Cross Country Greyhound Bus
Very young 17 Year Old’s Couple as such
The young woman started throughout having labor pains
The Father too be felt worried and wanted to hurry
It was a small town the young couple got on
We had arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah
While there, the Labor Pains continued
Later, we arrived in Nevada
That split second crossing the state line
The young woman was ready to conceive
The passengers were and surprised, but not relieved
We were at a Rest Stop supposedly for 30 minutes, but turned into 2 Hours
Luckily for us, we were across the street from a Major Hospital
They were summoned, and a medics team, and took the young woman off the bus on a stretcher
The young man got off the bus with her, but was disgusted
Before that time, The Greyhound Motor Coach Engineer was timing her contractions
The Greyhound Bus Driver gave the Medics the information
Through it all, the passengers were calm and no scare nor shouts
The Greyhound Bus Driver than announced, “He must make up the time to get back on schedule”
Dash was acceleration
San Francisco bound
The Go Greyhound had meaning that evening
The bus was scheduled to arrive into San Francisco at 12:20 pm the next day
The Greyhound Bus wheels were rolling
The bus rolled into San Francisco on time at 12:20 pm on the dot
Imagine that.

A house on 1717 Cedar Street
Once the dwelling of a Husband and Wife
The husband died of Cancer and his widow is left
The Wife would often cry at day and night full of emotion
Desperation moments
Tomorrow seemed to move full speed ahead
However, the Wife thought she was and will always be alone
There was a male mouse living within the walls of the house
The mouse would often come out when he heard the widow of the house in tears
He would do his best to comfort her lonely moments of despair
The mouse was trying to show compassion
At first the Wife became frightened and thought she needed to call the Exterminator
But in this instant, there was something about the male mouse that warranted the thought of elimination
A friendship that billed into a romance
The male mouse and the widow dined together, but didn’t drink together
A love affair encounter took place
Being alone turned into never alone
Possibilities of another kind like no other
Romance can come when one least expects it
No one would have ever thought

It wasn’t any easy preserver
I was never in gangs nor the **** route

The Deceased one appeared as an image
The voice spoke of encouragement

Yet I listened to every spoken word the deceased one was saying
Endure and courage being assuring
The words were “Walk in Confident with your head up”
Don’t let people upset you nor make you fed up
To me that was a condition
Needed to know more
The Deceased Friend stating I was a good friend in guiding him in his problems and helping him overcome
Step by Step satisfaction
The friendship always sustained
Being told by the Deceased one that I have a purpose and my life will always be elevated to new heights
Began to wonder how I would be directed
The heart pounded and echo out
Assurance was starting to take control
A certain surge of power in being “Bold, Honored and Favored”
The Deceased one disappeared and said, until we meet again
Later, went back to sleep
Next morning, rose and was ready to conquer the world with new revelations
Walking out the door, my eyes observed the sky, and said thank you Deceased Friend

A man with only being known as Joe
A story that will move slow
Joe was a homeless man living on the streets
He felt less of a man drowning in defeat
Joe often cried morning, noon and night
People would ignore Joe and had no pity
This was happening and you name any city
Suddenly something miraculous happened that night
A miracle took place
A voice called down from Heaven to Stand Up
Joe had no idea who the voice was and was frightened
In fact, Joe thought he was dreaming
It was the Lord getting Joe’s attention
The Lord stated, Joe, I know you fell on hard times
I am Faith and hope with blessings combined
I sit high and look low
You need to accept me and believe
Joe, I want you to level and not be fed up
I had heard your cries
There’s going to be a turnaround
Joe, I want you to seek salvation and that is how you are found

I am going to change your situation
But you must have inspiration being my indication
You see your tomorrow as sorrow

Your outlook will be a new rearrange

The Lord said, “This is Heaven” and showed me around, but only the outside
If I had gone completely in, the Lord would have had to take me then and there
As the Lord decreed, “Flesh and Blood shall never enter Heaven”
The Lord only wanted me to see what Heaven looked like, and as long as I continue to follow him, Heaven is where I shall be

I asked the Lord in how soon could I arrive?
The Lord’s answer, it is not your time as I had living still to do on Earth
I responded, I must go back to that nasty Earth
The Lord’s response was Yes, but said don’t be saddened in time you will

What an opportunity and honor in being chosen by the Mighty One for the journey
I didn’t feel deserving, but the Lord thought otherwise
I will never forget that moment
As you are reading, I didn’t forget but sharing the experience
My out of body experience returned to my fleshy body, and I woke up with a praising as a blessing
Thank you Lord for the exploration.

This is about encouraging an Ex-Con
It doesn’t mean make them feel like they are a no body
The Ex-Con is human just like you and me
We have done things in our lives that were wrong, but managed to make it right
No one is born to go to jail
No one should be considered in making a mistake being a fail
Fulfill inspiration within the heart
Give hope with cope
Provide sound analysis like a scope
Emphasize the goodness and not the bad in what the Ex-Con had committed
Don’t give the Ex-Con false hopes, but be honest in helping them achieve

I was travelling on a Greyhound Bus from Tampa, Florida to New York City being a vacation in Tampa
As we began to pull out from the Departure Gate, we were stopped by two Correction Officers releasing an Inmate
He boarded our bus where he was getting off in Orlando, Florida
He sat next to me being the only seat available, and the inmate stated he was an Ex-Con and hoped I didn’t mine him seating next to me
I told him not a problem, and he had already served his time, and I also told him, he didn’t need a reminder, but I was going to be inspiration
I did state, I hope you learned from your mistake

The two hours he was on a journey, it was the time I did my best to encourage the young man
He expressed and explained the situation of why he went to jail
I listened as if I was his Dad
But he was a very educated young lad
I saw promise
Yes I am being honest
The young lad showed me his Resume
He had accomplished a lot and had College before prison
I strongly recommended that he stay away from his Cousin who was the reason he went to jail
The young lad was definitely going back home immediately to Cleveland, Ohio
The Ex-Con explained how Florida jails were harsh on Inmates
So the idea of an Ex-Con is promise, but not all will be honest nor make an effort
But the Ex-Con young lad showed me he wanted to make good
I didn’t have a doubt in his could
However, I did emphasize it wouldn’t be easy, but stay focused and be determined
Present yourself in any interview with direct presentation of yourself being who you are and not what prison made you
That was my advice to the Ex-Con.

An Old Man was my inspiration
The Old man being my Grandfather
The reason why I bring him up, because his legacy became me being an Achiever
It was those four hours in typing lessons
It was for future business preparations
But this was when I was 15
My Grandfather had me pick a word from the dictionary, and incorporate sophisticated words into my vocabulary
No way do I want to sound contrary
But my training went beyond that
My Grandfather also prepared me for what it would be like in College
He gave me lecture styles the way Professors do
But my Grandfather was trying to built up my intellect and self-esteem
My Grandfather was determined for me in not working hard in life the way he did
Yet my Grandfather wasn’t finished with me yet, he had me train and practice playing the *****, and later had me professionally instructed by two people, Female Opera Singer and Professional Concert Pianist
Let’s say, music to my own ears
So that was my past learning lessons being my personal confessions

But I keep your legacy in me making the sound
You often would say, “You are going to remember this old man”
Why not, I am his number one fan
You helped me achieve
That makes me feel proud and relieved

The Greyhound bus gateway a vacation entry way
Through the scenery of highways and mountains
It was a stop at the EVERTON DINER in Everton, Wyoming
A lunch stop our Greyhound bus made
Upon entering nothing but a small town
You didn’t see any town’s people walking around
The owner of the Diner stated that he had limited Food as many Greyhound buses that made stops cleaned him out
I was hungry
The owner only had one hamburger left and nothing else
Fortunately, I got the only hamburger
However, there were flies all around, and the owner kept squatting flies with his squatter
The Owner was turning me off in getting the burger but I had to eat
Our Greyhound Bus Motor Coach Engineer announced as we should eat now as there will be a clean stretch with nothing for miles until we reach Salt Lake City, Utah
The driver was right all highway and mountains with no rest stops nor any eateries
Open road stretch
We arrived into SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH that night
Everton Diner I will never forget
Just wished he had food of variety is my only regret
That diner was a Greyhound bus oasis
My final destination was Los Angeles, Ca
Everton Diner forever remembered.

I am sure it wasn’t me
But let me bus illustrate in me for you to see
It happened when I was a little Tot
But I was little I didn’t know how to even tie a knot
Yet it was that very day when my Aunt took me shopping at Macy’s Herald Square
It was Yellow School buses that started me from there
My bus enthusiasm seemed to come alive
I am serious with no jive
There were all these all Marquee Eyes moving back and forth
Accompanied with a Stack of Yellow School buses, you know who had to have one
But wait, and I am not done
So I picked up one of the yellow school buses in sheer delight
Unknowingly to my Aunt, the bus in my hand was going to be her plight
My Aunt later discovered the bus was in my hand, and demanded that I put the bus back
As a Tot, I wanted that bus to be in my stack
Of course I refused to put back
My Aunt tried to take the bus from my hand, and I held onto that bus for dear life
As a Tot I didn’t offer any advice
My Aunt was forced to buy that specific bus, and that was nice
So my bus history ventured from there
I am Greyhound at heart, and it was that Hound Dog that the impression on my mark
Now its move forward, and only reflect for a moment
My time is bus time
My inspiration extends for a lifetime.

Places to be, but have I arrived?
Every defeat a discouragement
Every teardrop farther from achievement
What seems close is a distance
Yet within reach
Determined search
Responsibility in action
At times thinking failure
But that is a bad picture
I must overcome
Lonesome

Tears beyond pour

Anguished words and thoughts
I question my well being
Seeming with no prosper
All I hear is words, but no encouragement

Standing alone for myself
I am beaten and torn within my own battle
No victory, but defeat
Perhaps I am scornful and doubtful
Life on end
I yell but my voice echoes back
I shout for help
It became a yield
Some see it as useless and no pity
The until for too long
The Heaven’s see me as wonderful
I see myself dreadful
I thirst, but can’t drink
My mind wanders into no think
I am like a dead rose with no suppose
Death seems to be my trademark
One scar into numerous
Tormented no more.

This is Heaven transcending
Remember in my Bible Scriptures I said many Plights upon the land
The Pandemic was at my command
I sent many signs to get your attention
But you overlooked and went with your own understanding
There is a price for disobedient and you are now getting the punishment
Pandemic that has spread throughout the entire world
All this could have been avoided if you have done some things
Praying and reading the Bible are the essential decree
I would heal the land if you pray and hear from Heaven
It is just that easy
But you felt at ease
You don’t pray and don’t read the Bible
I have sent a message strong
Then the Pandemic came along
But you still didn’t respond
Things you love have shut down
In fact, entertainment has no sound
You now have restrictions
My forbidden for not seeking salvation
I am the representation
My words are obvious
I am the Lord who is furious
My patience grows weary
What would it take to get your attention more?
I am not trying to even the score
I want you to see salvation in blessings for sure
I am the Lord who gives life and take away
The Pandemic is here and won’t go astray
You have seen Death’s in large numbers because of your disobedient
Your tomorrow is down to zero
Don’t look for a Hero
The Pandemic is one of my plights
I am not trying to pull your leg
Your delay is as failure
My message is clear
Hold me close in near
Have no fear
I am the Lord being the preserver
If you want the Pandemic to vacate
I am the Lord you need to relate
I am the conquer of all
Pray to me being the call
Every given Pandemic moment is a stall
It falls on your neglect
Yes this Pandemic can have that effect
You are now stuck on pause
Disobedient is the cause

God and the Angels descend
Melody echoes
The harps obey
The Mighty beam stretches from Heaven to Earth
The prophecy established
Judgement through redemption
Heaven’s count
Spans worldwide
Tongue confessions
A world awakened
Not knowing the outcome

A little babe on the edge of Death
Doctor’s version of not much time left
In fact, Doctors stated boldly to prepare for a Funeral
No Funnel through uncertainty like a dark tunnel
A Grandmother with strong Faith prayed and asked the Lord about her Grandson in what the Doctor’s mentioned
The Lord responded that her Grandson will live, and be an inspiration to all for years to come
Your Grandson will bring joy and comfort in your later years
He will be one who will always persevere
That little Babe was me the Poet who wrote
I am standing and will continue
Faith and Assurance made it all possible
The Lord I stand
Life I commit
My testimony expressed throughout the land.

Christmases back from time
Peace and Joy
I remember getting lots of toys
I was raised with love from my Grandparents
They instilled in me being assurance
We lived on Pacific Street in Brooklyn, New York
It was a Two Family Brownstone
But throughout my life, I felt never alone
Christmas seem to brighten our house
We had an Artificial Christmas Tree with rotating multi-colored Spotlight circling the tree
The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad passenger train set welcomed Christmas in and the Guest who arrived at my house
Christmas Cards would be hung all along the walls
My Grandmother would be preparing the meals for Christmas Day the night before
It would Turkey, Ham and many assortments
The deserts would be Two Layer Cakes, Ice Cream and Sweet Potato Pies
I see when I mentioned deserts your eyes seems to rise
Now if you are on a diet, eat today and diet tomorrow
Of course, I had to have a piece of cake
It was give or take
Even Santa wouldn’t lose weight, as he would have gotten even bigger
Did I say bigger?
How would Santa fit coming down the chimney?
I won’t comment, as Ms. Claus is the seamstress
So it was Happy Holiday celebrations in my house
Family and Friends would rejoice
We would sing Christmas Carols being our voice
But I will never forget the significance of what Christmas was all about
Baby Jesus, North Star and Peace and goodwill towards men along with blessings
I often miss those Christmases from way back
But I hold them close to my heart for safekeeping
Now where is my Eggnog?
