It was footsteps that seemed miles
One step at a time while
This I call being Heaven’s style
Salvation often called
But my heart would stall
This was my young years
But through the teachings from my Grandmother, I continued to preserver
I remember praying, and at that moment, Jesus came into my life
I went through trials and tribulations and continue to do so
However, I welcomed the tribulations
But it was my foundation to blessings full of appreciations
I had made a decree with Jesus that I commit myself to him
As I walked, and wanted to know more
I got involved in Bible Study, and my understanding became sure
I have many testimonies on top testimonies
Death had a mark on me through birth
Doctors had given up hope, and informed my family to prepare for a Funeral
The Doctors felt there was no hope
But my Grandmother knew a person with full authority and a power uncomment to man
She prayed and had a conversation with the Almighty
When it comes to Death, it becomes an encore
But the Lord replied to my Grandmother’s prayer, and stated your Grandson will live and will be a blessing in her later years
It came to pass
My Grandmother was a praying warrior beyond measure
Doctors said the number Seven would be my last number
I am a Senior Citizen living beyond what Doctors said impossible
But God didn’t stop there, I became continued work in progress
As I walked, a voice called out my name, I turned around, but no one was there
This happened as I walked from the train station to where I live
Again, the voice called my name again, but this time a strong theme that came to my mind, “MAN MAKES PROMISES, BUT JESUS GIVES RESULTS”
I have been walking with Jesus ever since
I thank Jesus every day for taking me into his spiritual team
My journey has just begun
I am yet flourishing in the number among
The Lord will always reign being number one

A Greyhound Bus
Scheduled #102 to depart from Jackson, Mississippi
With destination signage for Memphis, Tennessee
The Greyhound Bus Driver was given the signal to depart
Every seat was accounted for and the bus was full
The bus was heading for the highway
Through the downtown Streets of Jackson leading to the journey that would begin
It was night and weather uncertain
Light rain began to fall
Suddenly, a strong wind began to blow
The wind got stronger and stronger
Without warning the bus was caught in a Tornado
Homes and structures were blown away
Even farm animals were also taken into flight
Cars and trucks thrown everywhere
The Greyhound Bus itself was lifted up swirling through the Tornado
What was amazing that the bus stayed intact during their ordeal
The spin and turn
Passengers were in panic
Their thought was this was their death
Without warning, the bus was descended downward, and gently placed on the ground back to the highway where journey started
Everyone was alive and survived
Only minor bruises
It was as if God said, “I spared you all”
Go and tell your testimony about the high and mighty
The Greyhound bus was able to continue their journey
It wasn’t their time to go home to Heaven
That day will always be remembered
Miraculous to tell their tail
The bus arrived into Memphis late
It didn’t matter, the Driver and passenger were alive to see another day
Faith was designated throughout the passengers

His footsteps our floor plan
The mission was Civil Rights for all
We must all stand up and fight being the call
Dr. Martin Luther King, a man guided by God
Let the Heaven’s set our stage
Lift our voices showing the multitude amazed

Let the Civil rights Movement be our start
We must move forward, and not stay back
It’s reality and not fact

My Grandfather was outspoken and didn’t play with his words that moved productivity in the Old Williamsburg Section of Brooklyn, NY
Nestled right at the river near the Williamsburg Bridge
My Grandfather took me on a tour once, and I met the staff he supervised.

I guess my Grandfather wanted to show off his Grandson
Inspiration in me is what determination satisfies
My Grandfather got things done
I am only sorry he is no longer among
He was a man of perseverance
My Grandfather was short, but don’t let his size fool you
Just like David from the Bible, no Goliath too big nor small would Intimidate him
As my Grandfather was capable and confident
He would have never retired, but SCHAEFFER relocated from Williamsburg to Allentown, PA

My Grandfather is my Hero
He taught me Typing and had me practice 4 hours every day
He even told me business principals and preparing for college
My Grandfather also had me incorporate words from the Thesaurus

Being a Black Man my voice can’t be still
My strength at my will
I have a mission to fulfill
As a Black Man scared for my life
I feel trapped with no advice
Brutality only leads to Death
I don’t know how much time I have to live left
But I stand representing myself as a Black Man
I have thoughts and dreams
Yet my thinking could be taken as a questionable in what it seems

I am considered a threat
I have done nothing wrong, but I am trying to stay upbeat
Perhaps Racism doesn’t matter to others

My skin color is all that the world sees

I pray to the Lord
This battle is not mine to fight in God’s accord
I wonder at times if I will be killed on any night being the plight
Perhaps my sunrise will be darkened with no light

As a Black Man I must think realistic
But I must believe hopeful and have Faith
This is all a Black Man has
My cries come in multitudes
But just like a Book from beginning to end might be my conclude
I just want peace in soothe

I deserve a promised life
God said it himself in giving advice
Lord I know and see

Lord’s reply, He was only showing me Heaven, and if I continue to follow him, Heaven is where I will be
The Lord also stated, “It wasn’t my time, and I still had living to do
The reason for the Lord’s response, the Lord simply wasn’t ready for me as I still had years to prosper
I told the Lord how, I guess I have to go back to that nasty Earth and the Lord stated in an affirmative Yes
My inner body transcended back to my flesh and blood body
I woke up with Hallelujah in praise
Heaven’s Dream in meaning everything to me.

Race character in look
Yet always thinking
However, being a Leader
Thinking ahead
Striding in an affirmative stead
The mind steadily concentrating on assembly

Start until complete
Beyond measure
Success forming the pleasure

The push for Civil Rights change
Opposition just couldn’t remain
Malcolm X name represented greatness
I can account being the witness
Malcolm X was no error, but a count on
Feared no one
A name that will always be remembered
Movement of achievement
Malcolm X was killed for civil rights he believed in
His voice like a woodman’s Ax
Loud and verbal
His time on Earth was allowed
X marks the spot

The San Francisco feel
Being a **** for a day being real
It was an experiment I wanted to try
I see puzzled faces with the reason why?
I was on vacation and touring the Frisco city with tour group, and I asked about the area the tour company wanted to avoid, the escort said to me don’t go up into upper Market Street
Now for me, I know that wasn’t a San Francisco treat
I asked the Escort in what was wrong with the area
The Escort spoke without hesitate, “Motorcycle Gangs”
I wanted to venture up
I wore a Bandana around my head with ripped up jeans, and clothes beyond my nature
I was going to become my own scene
So I became a ****
But at least no dared to mug
Once I arrived, I was in a lonely alley
Suddenly, Motorcycle gangs approached from everywhere
I started acting tough and becoming a diehard ****
I called their bluff
I was told I didn’t belong
I didn’t have to rubble, but I did get along
So the **** in me with the Motorcycle Gang I did see
I saw the big side
I did not run and try to hide
I let my instinct provide
Later, I went back to myself in abide
So San Francisco was my grain of salt and stride
A vacation to remember, but I am slumber

Listen to the wisdom of an old woman
You will find what experience sounds like
I have seen all and knowledge of all
I won’t always be around
While I am living, I will share my pointers
Grandson, I want your feet planted firmly on solid ground
Be the Adult I always told you were meant to be
Be independent and courageous
Depend on no but yourself guided by God’s assurance and influence

The Lighthouse during stormy seas
The uncertain storms along with blowing breeze
Sea waves that seem to come alive
Angry waves within the Heaven strive
Ships often have trouble maneuvering during a storm
But in any storm, this is the norm
The Pacific Cove Lighthouse always has a rotating spotlight in don’t be alarmed
Lighthouse to every ship
Let my beam be your guidance every step of the sea
It’s about survival the way it should be
The Lighthouse is the safety point
Once ships are at sea
It’s the lighthouse light they shall see
It’s extending for whatever storm possibilities could be
The sea might be referred to as an ocean
No matter what, it’s all water

Pacific Cove isn’t a name just made up
Its determination and target encouraging ships in never give up
The Lighthouse is Heaven’s light where ships are always in sight.
