A young man was walking on the beach
A bottled lamp washed up on shore
The young man was somewhat hesitant to touch
Yet curious was running on the young man’s mind
He picked up the lamp and started rubbing on it
Suddenly, a Genie popped out saying his name was PRESTO
The Genie stated he had been locked up on the lamp for years
The Genie also stated that the young man has three wishes

The young an didn’t know how to respond, and what wishes to make
Was this Genie genuine?
A thought on the young man’s mind
The young man wished for a designer suit
The Genie granted and a suit from a wish appeared
A wish that came through
The young man said he has two more wishes
He wanted muscles and be muscular
The Genie progressed another wish, and the young man was totally built and big
Now the Genie stated, “You have one wish left”

Sitting on a Greyhound awaiting to depart
Memphis being the start
My Greyhound bus ticket has no specific destination with only “Anywhere Bound”
The feeling is where to find the possibilities in where to settle
Journey into a new life
No fiddle faddle
Reclining in my seat, and just imagine my life through the off ramp in discovering my destiny
Miles upon miles will give me plenty time thinking while
Observing the various trucks, cars and other bus coaches as I view through the bus picture windows
Destinations in so many directions, North, South, East and West
Remembering an old slogan, “GO WEST YOUNG MAN”
There’s much to chose, but don’t dwell on confused
As the Greyhound bus wheels roll while kicking up dust and acceleration
My journey is the turning point in what is to come
Goals centered in my head in how to follow through

Perhaps a town or major city being my objective

So called Chef
How much time do I have left?
The mouth was waiting for food to eat
The eyes said it had to retreat
No one knew what was cooked
All one had to do was take a look
The mouth wanted a food taste, the stomach wanted to take away
This was the stomach’s getaway
The mouth seriously wanted to try
The stomach said, “Do you want to die”?
The Chef cooked a full course meal
The eyes saw and said, “Is this Chef for real”?
The stomach formed its own seal
The mouth said the food couldn’t be that bad
Want a bet?
The meat was tough
The Vegetables were fresh
The thought of the matter was don’t eat
Running out of excuses, but didn’t want to insult the Chef
There were no excuses left
Suddenly an outburst, let me go and get a friend

Within the questions, you must honest and sincere
Now let me give you some pointers to preserver
Put your fears to the side
Listen to the approach as I provide
The idea is to confront what is instilling in the fear
Could it be speaking in front of crowds of people?
Perhaps having no confidence

This could be related to your childhood coming up
Then again, maybe people said words to you to make fears come within you
The truth to the matter, you need to build your self-esteem up
Confront those fears, and let yourself improve
Associate the word, ‘ENTHUSED”
Don’t let anyone question your personality that yourself is confused
People only want to think that you are misused
You are who you are
It’s only you that will achieve going far
If giving a speech makes you uncomfortable
Put the key word in your head “ABLE”
Practice around your kitchen table, and pretend it is a meeting around a Roundtable, but before you start, take a deep breath
Yet always instill, “I CAN DO THIS”
You will find you could do it after all
Overcoming fears means you must challenge them
Making it personal like a battle
Remember, it is you in the saddle
But the emphasis is victory
Your testimonial being your story
Deliver what you always wanted that was required
Your mission being what you always desired

People have a way in causing misunderstanding
But sometimes it can be misleading
The misunderstanding becomes a lack of understanding from within
I won’t say you are like anybody else
People must think and analyze thought
Words that are not misleading
Interpretation surrounding only the obvious in what was truly said and meant
It’s not an instead
But shouldn’t cause an commotion
Yet keep thoughts in the right motion
So what does that mean?

Name it, it happened
Trip to Jim Thorpe, PA
Started out late
No appreciate
Stuck in traffic
Finally arrived on the NJ Turnpike
Bus made a rest stop thereafter
Two bus passengers didn’t return, and the tour escort had to look for
No galore
Two passengers returned
After we read for a while on the NJ Turnpike
Finally connected to the PA Turnpike
We thought
Had to wait before continuing on the PA Turnpike as there was a parade of cars and buses were commemorating a memorial Sept. 11, 2001 Attack
Since we couldn’t proceed on the PA Turnpike for a moment, we stopped at a McDonald’s just to use the bathroom

We had a restroom aboard our bus as well
Some of the passengers made a fuss
We were now maneuvering over the PA Turnpike, but will we catch up on time from the delay
After we rode for several miles, the Driver turned off thinking we had arrived at the destined route point
We were way off, and the Driver asked directions and was told we had 50 more miles to go
As we got closer, we got stuck in a Funeral possession and had to ride all the way to the Cemetery

We were way behind schedule
We were very late to the restaurant and arriving at 1:00 pm and we were supposed to be there by 12:00pm
Lunch was rushed, and we had to eat in a half an hour
That was the quickest lunch I ever had
It probably would have been better to serve us toast and butter
We were supposed to have an hour lunch, but time restraints
We were given free time to explore Jim Thorpe, PA on our own for 20 minutes
We had two events to attend
One was the train ride what was supposed to be at 1:00, but turned into 3:00 pm, and took an hour
Were scheduled to tour the mansion at 4:00 pm and that is the time they close, but was alerted in advance and we were accommodated for the tour
That ended at 6:00 pm

After touring the mansion, we headed for the bus to return home
Three people didn’t return, and the escort had to find
At least the escort was kind
Soon they returned
Homeward bound
I thought
The bus was riding for a while then suddenly the bus had mechanical problems
The PA System stopped working and mechanical at the same time
Brakes locked and wouldn’t unlock
There we were in the dark stuck on the PA Turnpike
Coach USA was alerted since that’s what our bus was
We waited for three hours for another Coach USA relief bus to arrive
Our relief bus had arrived
We had to get off our bus and maneuver to the relief one in our same assigned seats
It wasn’t organized nor neat
Passengers were cussing at one another

Moving with ease
Jim Thorpe, PA was in the Poconos which is a 2 Hour trip normally
Took us 7 hours to get to New York City and before we got to the city we had to drop off passengers in Rego Park, NY which was one of the pick up points then it was New York City
Arrived in New York City at 12:30 am
At Penn Station to take the LIRR home and had to wait for the 2:00 am and arrived home 3:00 am Sunday morning
Arrived from Hell bound throughout.

A strong voice echoed out, “We shall overcome
The struggle centered on Race
The aftermath in bringing all races together in unity
Time was and even now an essence
Hatred among foes
At times it might going face to face
Determination and commitment can and should never erase
Dedication at every bound
Name calling having negative vibes in sounds
Push on my Brothers and Sisters
No time to stop but keep the movement going
The Thunder roared, and lightning flashed
We are the people that will get to the Promised Land
It is hope, Freedom, Honor and Dignity
Dr. Martin Luther King saw the dream in advance
He saw opportunity in chance
The movement became mainstream
The energy with self-esteem added to the steam
Civil Rights had to go worldwide like an enterprise
The results in helping the world to realize
Race wasn’t a wrong, but it was where coming together belonged
Foes were again, but the fact being, we all deserved to be among
It didn’t matter of creed and nationality
Race coming together as one was going to be a reality
The hills seems high to climb
But the struggle was going to be victory at the top
But don’t tire nor stop
So this day, we honor the Mighty, Dr. Martin Luther king
Remembering his legacy
But the work is not complete

Rejection chain reaction
New Born Male Child
A babe suffering during while
A Mother who wanted her son to die
Heaven’s intervention rise
The new born experienced Asthma, Yellow Jaundice and Malnutrition
The birth weight way below normal circumstances
Life surrounding was uncertain
Doctors are given up hope
Assurance was no cope
Doctors calculated that the babe will only live to 7 in longevity
They told the family to prepare for a funeral and not become attached, but if I lived on it would be God’s will
The Doctors suggested that I put in a Foster Home, but my Grandparents stepped in
Foster Home ruled out
Fast forward through the years, the babe grew up to a teenager of 17 and beyond
The Male teenager spend many weekends with his mother who didn’t want him
The Mother often said she wanted a Girl
No fault on my part, I just became the end product what God wanted me to be
She would cuss and chastise the son for no apparent reason

It was always criticism and negativity that came from the mother to the son
There was definitely a wall of a barrier between the mother and son with love nowhere to be found
The son was blamed for his mother not marrying the internal father
How does a child who didn’t ask to be born being the problem?
The Yellow Jaundice had changed the pigmentation of skin to Caucasian, but that was only briefly when I was born
To this day, the son feels no love and doesn’t extend love to his mother
There used to be a lot of anger and bitterness, but since has been released
Carrying plenty of tension throughout the years

The son prayed to the Lord in honesty in stating he didn’t love his mother
The Lord’s response, “Just respect her”
There were times the son hated himself thinking it was a mistake in him being born
There was even a thought of suicide attempt
A Mother who is not even proud of what her son who is independent, Graduated from college and Self-Alliant has become
The son will always believe a mother wanted to **** her son while she was barring with all her smoking, and stated quote “I would of had an abortion done when abortions weren’t even heard of back then
Yet, a son who is ever proud and achieved greatness in life under the Lord’s eyes.

Father, the world needs a spiritual seek
Guide the world in how to take a peek
The world needs a better tomorrow
They are stuck on sorrow
It’s Deliverance in the after ever
Hour by hour
Your word being the revelation
Father, we are your creation
The world needs Faith in representation
You died so we could have life

A little Tot so excited
Couldn’t sleep
Tried to even count sheep
The thought of Reindeers circulating deep
The anticipation of Santa’s arrival

As the night went on, the little tot finally gave in and went into deep sleep

Christmas morning arrived, and the little tot rushed downstairs and looked under the Christmas Tree of the presents that were left by Santa
The little Tot was so excited, he had to open the gifts right away
He saw all kinds of gifts such as a passenger plane, a small Remote Robot, a toy Greyhound bus and more
