So what makes their specific Black Achievers great?
It was their focus on achievement and continuing no matter what
It was their understanding
Their purpose being their own contribution
So have names on educational institutions for example, MEDGAR EVERS, CUNY MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE
I am proud to say, I am the product of CUNY Medgar Evers College embracing in the Medgar Evers Legacy
I was honored too be taught at CUNY Medgar Evers College by Dr. Betty Shabazz, Widow of MALCOLM X
I was inspired in her teachings and values
So Black History had and continues to be an impact on me
“To be a success, you must be taught in wisdom associating from the best”
That is my honest and true confess

She lived to be 96, but now is in Heaven’s threshold
I hope I can live to a right old age the way Ms. Tyson did

It’s the pass Election concerned about
The President is forced to standalone
Rioters at the Capitol made it full blown
It was an attack on the Capitol with lacked defense
As it stands in past tense
It was multitudes of the President’s supports doing their will
It was a day to Certify the Electoral vote
It was the President suggesting to the world being a revolt
This was serious and wasn’t a joke
It was those fierce words in what the President spoke
Our Democracy had an invade
Darkness having no shade
The President wanted to rearrange the election in his favor
But he loss with no savor
So the President Elect became official
The President is trying to be quiet like a still pickle
His Cabinet mostly resigned
But the President is alone with no having assigned
Even the Vice President and the President don’t communicate
It is all because the President doesn’t appreciate
But now worries are on the Inauguration at the Capitol
Will all authorities be prepared?
The Senate and the House have doubt
But will it be time to work out
The air has light breezes
No one feels at ease
In fact, it is like a tight squeeze
Even the President’s Social Media accounts have been suspended
The President needs to understand in a couple of weeks, his services will no longer be needed.

I write to pass the days
It keeps my mind sharp from going astray
At times it could be experiences
The focus on encouragement in instances

Knowledge of the past being a wonder
But the remembrance has stretched yonder
However, the past must now ponder
Experience that was put into effect

But the new Millennial are in a new horizon with agenda’s that might be on defect
Ideas beyond the obsolete comprehension
They are the one’s who draw attention
Tomorrow swiftly moved to present
The Millennial are the represent
We the obsolete started the phase
But it comes with it’s own amaze
It started in what was to be done in life
Our encouragement added to the advice
It’s up to the Millennial to put up where we can no longer go

We maybe obsolete, but we have the wisdom and understanding in guiding in the upkeep

During 2020 there was plenty of mysteries
Uncertainty having top dollar became the voice
It affected us all being no choice
2020 is a year that everyone wants to forget
We can’t reverse what has already happened in regret
Yet no matter what, the year, 2021 is the year we pray and hope to make
Not be a year of give or take
Not be a year to say for goodness sake
But looking forward to appreciate
2021 to be a year to move forward into positivity
A year offering opportunity being full of activity
But the Mask and Social Distance will be the agenda
2021 will be continuous as we enter

God is in control

They even scared a Cat and a Mouse

Some of the toy buses were heavy, and others light as a feather
They were in different designs all put together
The toy buses that lit up
I was drinking Eggnog in my cup
We are Bus Collectors in every way
It doesn’t matter what day
Santa decided wearing his Red and White, I will let buses guide me tonight
Their headlights will lead the way
Unfortunately, the Reindeer will be at home to stay
So as I prepare for Christmas Day
Don’t lose the enthusiasm, and don’t let your buses go astray

My personal testimony to share
It was December 21, 2020
I had a Health issue situation
It will be explained in this composition
Yet with timing in precision
I rushed myself to emergency at a Hospital in my area
I was bleeding and urinating at the same time
I was praying steady until
My mind focused was relishing on Death at that moment
But a sense of realize came over me
It was divining Faith in believe
So that was my relief
In emergency, I was waiting for a Doctor

Various tests were taken
I just had to wait for the results
Hours later, A Doctor being an Urologist came over to me and gave me the test results
My condition was nothing more than an infection
I was given Antibiotics and another medicine
But here is where the miracle surfaced
Remember, it was December 21, 2020 in emergency
When I went home that same day, the healing was already in process
December 22, 2020, the bleeding had completely stopped, and I was urinating without any trace of bleeding
The healing was the promise transcended
Deliverance on target
That’s my testimony in how I overcame my condition, which God and only God did
What I went through, God can also pull you through
Worry not, but do believe
That’s my encouragement in inspiring others
Proven and satisfied
It came from Heaven where God resides

Burning the midnight oil
Compose in construct
Writing at times when in the trash
There were even moments, I simply wanted to dash
But looking for words took longer than I ever would have imagined
Hours pass, and found myself falling asleep, so much for sleepless
But during that sleep, there was a knock at the door in my head
It was words telling me “Wake Up Wake Up”

They were telling me, you are far from being done
The words said, “Write this down”
The time is too write, but not think on slumber
