Reality words
Standing alone
A story told
Woes seen
Between mysteries after another
Circumstances encountered
Down to broke
Pavement living
Cries full of desperation
Mistakes that were made
Gambling and Drugging
No excuses for actions
Time passed on and beyond
No Family nor Friends support
Lonely
All alone
Winters came
Shivering in the cold
Roasting in the summer
Begging to survive
Human rag thrown out
Life was no longer mine
Who was I?
An unknown on the streets
As I walked, a voice said “BE STILL AND WAIT”
I moved slightly, and the voice repeated, “BE STILL”
It was a human voice, but a spiritual one
I began to kneel, and gave praise to the Lord
Life was starting to change
One must believe
Blessings started to pour
My feet planted on solid ground of a new revelation
The discovery with an honor
Encouraging words so true being my follow through
Pavement no more
Living all assured
Divine goodness
I am the witness
