Eeny Meeny Miny Moe
A phrase and let go
Putting one in the know
A pick and choose moment
The start with eeny meeny miny moe
The end in moe
The count
The who
Choosing
Being chose
The person
The winner

Human Couch Potato
Eating a lot and getting bulk
Not fit
The need to exercise
Thought for the wise
Energize
You will see the surprise
The couch would say, can’t take human weight anymore
Lose the weight for sure
Stop being lazy
Constant eating doesn’t set well
Look in the mirror showing tell
You will be saved by the bell
Give any couch a break
For Heaven’s sake
Exercise before it’s too late.

Stepped aboard
On the Greyhound Bus
Show me my destiny
My sense of purpose
The thirst to know
Open road show
Sunrise to a new beginning
Sunset to a life to fulfill
Greyhound Bus wheels
Keep turning directing me to my final destination
My stops in pauses in being prepared
Waving citizens of encouragement throughout
Greyhound Bus a forever a reminder
Journey is not complete
Recline back and reflect
Enroute to the right place
My Greyhound Bus moments
My time
Destined and ready
Holding steady
Greyhound Bus ticket enterprise
Throughout my own realize
Journey could be anywhere
It all started elsewhere
I arrived at a city
My place to be
Contributions of mine to see

Not a shooting nor twinkling star
Not even a Hollywood star
I would have to be far
Above all
A star great
One the world would appreciate
No rage
Any age
You could launch me in a rocket to be among the stars
It wouldn’t be the same
No fame
Not the right aim
I wouldn’t have that twinkle
In the middle like a disturbing fiddle
Star thought
Reaction
Emotion
Once wanted being a star if could
If stood
A star bright
Never a night

Beep Beep
Talking bus
Surprised to hear one
Never out done
Flag me down
Step aboard
Hear the engine pulsating
I travel from Market Street Downtown and all around into the suburbs
It’s the commuters who ride
Street to street to which I provide
Stopping within various street blocks
Sometimes traffic like it or not
Daily proceed
Transit all communities need
When you see your stop, just pull the cord, and I will stop
A talking transit bus at its best
Some say they can take it or less
Commuters have that right to confess
Nonetheless, transit bus on duty
Observe how I absorb the street bumps, totally sturdy
This talking transit bus has said enough
No bluff
Just enough

Distance Beyond
Horizon view
Birds soar
Every breath an adventure
Separation between ground and height
Times of anguish
Discouraged in struggles
Encouraged words that you will make it
Feeling at ease
Embrace the breeze
Think high above
Transcend through endurance
From valley to mountain top
Discovery
Learning of self
Heaven’s teachings
High thoughts with big dreams
Picture perfect skies
Imagine into imagine
Believing
Can do

Mother why?
You abused me with your mouth
Didn’t you realize what would come out
You said you never wanted me
That was love I didn’t see
You stated you would have had an abortion on it
That tells me I wasn’t fit to live
You had no love to give
I used to cry many days and nights
My cries were hope in that you would change
There was no rearrange
No appreciation whatsoever
You are at a distance
You say Mother
I was raised by another
My Grandparents
They gave me the love and nurture
Kodak moment in my mind and heart
Love being something you never could
Didn’t even bother to try
You saw me as an ugly duckling
An outcast with no purpose
Your reasoning unsure
I became Heaven’s survival see
You smoked while carrying me
Death was on your mind
I am no longer bitter
You thought of me as litter
My Grandparents are proud in the person I became
All I can say it is a shame
Why couldn’t you feel the same?
Totally lame
My Grandparents will always look down on me from Heaven
They will always say, “We raised you well”
I have no love for you Mother
Only respect
Aftermath wanted to beat me down
But I am still around
You can’t have my heart
Moved on with no regret
You had that much effect
I am mature and on my own
This is how I felt
My hurt
My story
Inspired blessings through glory
