My Funeral is here and now
Your tears aren’t sincere
You are full of guilt
You really didn’t care when I was living
You are probably glad I departed
You are only at my Funeral just to see for yourself I am truly deceased
Friends and Family in pretend
My final chapter came to an end
Don’t look down at me in the coffin
There was no love for me on Earth when I was living
I am flyting in spirit like a Dove
Heaven is my new home
Peace and comfort to roam
Time moved on
I am where I belong
My days on Earth meant nothing
I gave my all on Earth
The world took my life for granted
It meant nothing
I am on Transcend mode
Forget me
You are not worthy
My enriched my beginning
My fulfillment complete
Tomorrow is my new day
I did my best
I am no longer among
My praise in God’s honor
Suffer for the living on Earth
You showed yourself and I proved myself
I am among the Believers
My baggage soul is packed and steady
I am on ready
My Heavenly room reserved
This is what I deserve
My moment came quick
I am at the highest
Gone Forever

Words don’t always come
Sometimes my mine is lonesome
At times Poets feel they aren’t Poets
Storms torment the spirit
It feels like a detour having a blockage
Emotions sealed like a hidden trap door
The battles between the words and sentences
No beginning. Nor ending
Sustain within
Loss for expression
One letter at a slow call
Unable to respond
Inspiration down
The Poet being nowhere to be found
Failure in own right
Poet relishing plight
The battle strong and intense
A Poet’s life could very well be past tense
Words missing the bull’s eye
All a Poet can do is cry
Letters from words
Mind and voice, we need to talk
Every pause is a Poet’s stalk
There must be a mindset
Writing is about creating the effect
Then something happens behind the Poet’s words
They construct
Suddenly encouragement comes from Poetry readers
Writing and sentences come back
The battle is no longer a struggle
Echoes comes to the Poet, “Come back to the writing saddle”
Be a Poet you are meant to be
Be committed and devoted for the world to continue to see

Mountains are not easy to climb, but one must be determined
Obstacles become circumstances
Challenging yourself through endurance
Staying positive working through negative influence
A mission one must pursue
Distance far and beyond
Standing on your own morals and disciplines
Dr. King’s voice said, “I am going to win”
Civil Rights Movement caught the attention of the world and Washington
Enough was Enough of being deprived
It was time to receive dignity like any other Ethnic group
We must continue the fight in Dr. King’s legacy as the work is not done
Dr. King made his commitment and fought a good fight
His devotion of Civil Rights must continue in all of our efforts
Dr. King is looking down on us from the Mountain Top
We must fulfill where Dr. King loss his life and strive in his honor
Hold steady
It’s not over
We must succeed going forward and not pause
Standards are what we can demand
Freedom is our right
Living shouldn’t be to have or not plight
Darkness is what holds us back
Light directs our inspired path
Truth is what needs to be recognized
Having an agenda that must be emphasized
Together strong
The Heaven’s wants us to get along
Gods create
Love embarked being appreciate
The world relishes on hate
That is something to anticipate
Tomorrow seeing a vision
A future bright with a fulfilling sunrise and sunset
All the goodness adding to the effect
Every challenge a break through
Every struggle guided through pray
Every blessing a lesson
Make one prove, and the mission is on the move
Dr. King was definitely a leader
Getting everyone to see his agenda
Showing be solid as a rock, “We shall not be moved”
Dr. King had everything to prove
No matter what storm came his way
He was going to finish his promise and not estray
Dr. King has gone on to his reward
Remembrance in Dr. Kings inflection
He started his commitment
Let’s continue on his dream

Blessings one can’t count
Praise to the Mount
Believing throughout on every score
Faith accomplished with relishing soar
Assurance felt
Goodness that followed
Trust made that obvious
Multiply after multiply
Praying upon praying being the reason why

Acknowledge the amaze
Overloaded blessings
Achieving in honesty
Purpose destined
Mission to be involved
