There is a time to leave

And a time to grieve

There is a time to love

A time to pray above

And there is time for me

A time for your lover to see

There is a time to cry

And there will come a time to die

And a time to read what I write

A time to have to fight

A time for children to play

Always a time for being with you today

But give me more time tonight my sweet

More time for my heart to beat

That more time to admire you

The time I want to desire you

But time is passing me by

Time always seems to fly

This poem is for all of you out there

All who I desire and admire, take care
If you’d done it better

I’d have been wetter

If you’d taken the time

I’d have an ******, sublime

You didn’t, were through

I’m so over you
I’m finding it hard with words to convey
How your actions affected me today

With every poke and every ****
On my feelings you did trod

Yes, you hurt me today
But, by god, your going to pay
same words, same tone
every time I see you I see your message I pick up the phone
I wish you would do it right
even just for one time.

but why, you always have to say something show something prove something do something
annoy me disappoint me make me add harshness to my words turn me into someone I do not want to become

why can't you, just once, before it's too late
say something do something be something
before it's too late, help me so I won't forget
why I once thought you were my world

Girls of the world
Do you remember
When they told you,
To love your body
And to love yourself-
Regardless of your
Shape, size, skin?

Girls of the world
Do not believe
Their hateful lies.

Girls of the world
Hate your body
And change it until
It's perfect-
Because you will never
Be loved, accepted
Even if you love yourself.

Girls of the world
I thought it would
All fall into place.

Girls of the world
I loved my body
And was comfortable
In MY skin
But those I loved most
Could not love me
For the skin I was in.

Girls of the world
Beauty is not subjective
It is precise.

Girls of the world
Do not fall into the trap
Of thinking you are:
Beautiful, perfect in your own way
Because you are not
You can only be
Perfect in one way.
Frustration
Do this, do that
No choice
Do it now
No control
A child
Directed
Dictated
Asked but no choice
Who am I?
Child or slave?
Dependent
Longing
To do what I want
To decide when
For freedom
To say yes
To gladly choose
To serve by choice
Willingly
Because I want to
Not required to
Decide when
Decide what
Ability to say no
Ability to say yes
Frustration

I hear "I love you" every day,
and many other things.
These words warm me
from head to toe;
yet, they possess a certain sting.

"Actions speak louder than words",
I always say in return
to a certain man,
who doesn't have time
to care, hope, or discern.

I turn my head away,
mumbling of false guarantees
(both past and present).
I look in his eyes, get out of the car,
and think *"Remember me."
Leave it, don't say a word
Less is said, then more is heard
I fear, my dear, that your words mean plenty
While your actions fade, I will pray,
that you still love me to this day
05/04/10
very, very random inspiration.
took two minutes, tops. don't judge :p
Don’t tell me that you need me,
And I’m the best you’ve found,
Because if you really needed me,
You at least would come around.

Don’t talk to me on the phone,
Saying words I want to hear,
And giving me more excuses,
Why you can’t be with me here.

Don’t tell me that you love me,
And how much you really care,
But when I really need you,
I can’t find you anywhere.

Actions speak louder than words,
And for all your fancy talk,
It just don’t mean a thing,
If you can’t walk the walk.

Because it’s not what you say,
As much as what you do,
And if you can’t understand that,
I’ll just find somebody new.

Not sure what to say here, so I'll just let the words speak for themselves...and the 21st 67Goat poem, btw...
