We danced around our feelings
Somewhat lacking the emotional prowess
To move forward and say what each of us
Needed to hear.
We longed for that inkling of acknowledgement
From a distance, far and wide
From an echo felt hollow inside
Awaiting the response that confirmed
“It must be love”
And yet ~
...........One simple word created a story
...........One destined to live
Beyond the infinity of the Universe
Lifetime...........after ...........lifetime
In this world ...........perpetually...........reborn
