Dec 2014
Watched her dress a pale body
among pinkish-grey swirls of air
Bending down like the youngest angel
she pulled up stockings over
white legs, at once the best
Tender movements wrapped perfect skin
sliding easily upward like
the politics of a town

A common wetness
we might see, if
congress swept down
and licked the day
from nearby courts in trees
passing laws like winged prostitutes
