Paignton beach,
is out of reach.
It's much too far away.
The sand was hot,
but now it's not.

The sun shone brightly,
In the sky.
In summertime the locals fry.
The holiday makers too.
The visitors come to visit.
To fritter all their money.
They stay at home, snug and warm unless it's really sunny.
