Dec 2014
When the bubble foam snow
Floated down from the sky,
I could feel her next to me
With her deep brown eyes
Ready to jump and laugh and
Smother my arm
And kiss my nose with her
Lips so red and warm.
But when I turned to look
Where she stood over there
All that greeted me was
A gust of cold empty air,
And this cheap Christmas
Pageantry lost all of it's taste,
Because without her with me
Time feels like a waste.
