My Friend.
My friend is Patty M.
Her life is getting rather tough.
A lifetime of issues are getting rough.
She’s weathered storms of so many.
And written words of more.

She too is a poet.
A writer of so many things.
She been there and I’ve laughed with her.
She’s hugged me metaphorically.
From the other side.
Of the wild and windy pond.
When my life fell apart.
As a pair of listening ears.
Put up with my nonsense and wiped away my sulky tears.
She offered me words of support from the bottom of her heart.
I hope so much that things for you, get sorted out so you’re not blue.
