Dec 2014
I walked into a Christmas card to see what I could find.
Traversed through the letters writ,
as if a wise man delivering good news.
I felt the tension in the card.
I read the words of love so true.
I looked at the style,
the shape of letters,
as  they were created by your pen.
I looked at the significance of the greeting,
held in the mind of the sender,
and the joy perceived by the receiver.
Just to know somebody cares.
Thinking of the future,
thinking of the past.
Who is still there this year,
and who  was there last.
I ponder,
I wonder,
Matters more important.
than a mere Christmas card.
Let somebody know you care!
