Dec 2014
The window rolled down just enough to let the warm air blow into the cab early this December day
Asphalt, street lights, shopping centers on my left and on my right
a man with his backpack standing on the corner looking hopeful about the day ahead
a slow driving car in front of me hindering my view from the train about to cross ahead...
when the only words I hear from the song playing on the radio are "When I come around..."
I see you on my right with your solace smile and green hair, the glow in your eyes anxiously waiting for the right moment to utter a sweet word as you always do...
you head-bang out of nowhere, your shades fly off your face turned red and before I know it you are kicking back, foot on the dash and that smile returns...
the only memory I have of you spending  a day and more with me came so soon, gone so fast...
only a whisper now, but vivid memories
its when I think of you, becomes when I THOUGHT of you.
