The folding of arms can be oppressive
so why do you treat me this way
in all journeys, I have delivered
treasures in elegant bronze, silver and gold

My only wish, for I have but one
is to hold you again in my arms
I just need to know you care about me
as much as I care about you

Just one hug will do
as I always love you
so please forgive my scares
for I have been at battle for so many years

The tears you see running down my face
they are tears of sorrow and woe
for I love you
but what you feel........ I don't know
