Just before I greet the sun, you smiled at me first
You are with me while I journey through my day
My eyes just twinkle out of nowhere
Long rides are just too short as I think of you
Fondness, that's what my friend says when I talk of you
Worth-the-wait couple but never-been-a-couple, frustrated friends think
How can we let our fears manifest over what we truly feel?
Complicated as it is, bittersweet conversations
I think of you
I know you think of me, too
Twisted world it is
May it brings out the best of what we deserve
Tomorrow we'll know and we won't cry
We'll just make grateful screams
