If only you knew
What it felt like to go through
The feeling of not knowing
What they're doing to you.
I was so young and so bold
Until he did the untold
To me, I was lost
But he thought it was gold.
I felt myself tearing
But somehow I was bearing
Now I can’t believe that
He was that daring.
I now know what he
Had the guts to do to me
I was ten, he was three years ahead
And nothing was done to any degree.
Because of those times
That he ‘put me in line’
I am now lost
And a good life I need to find.
If only you knew
What it was like to
Be the victim of a crime
And have it run your life askew.
About a personal experience Ive had.
