Stick your head above the parapet and
get shot.
There's not a lot going for you
it's like the cuckoo has flown
but you've known that all along.

What's wrong with society that it
would treat you and me
like targets to be hit.

**** rises and I
have seen that
in countless social enterprises that
are rotten to the core.

I have worn the coat of many colours
been filled with the treasures
of many little pleasures but
it has to end.

Time to spend and time to save or
waste it in the grave
if the mind is set then
that's what you'll get,
Accolades like Lucozade,
sweet
but they don't meet
the mission statement.
