Anchor
Do you know where I am?
I'm holding on for dear life
And I can't see a way out.
Your storms of sorrow
Block out all hours of daylight
You stand alone
The world holding you down
I gasp for air trying to save you
But I'm losing the strength
To pull you free
My touch glances' your cheek
Yet you can't feel my love
So close to your warmth
The cold bites my finger tips
I'm losing a battle
To win you from all obscurity
We're lost in here together,
Between two continents
Sailing oceans far from home
Stars that used to guide you to safety
Now fail in the dim light.
I can't find a way
To get to you
To see this through
I've lost my faith
Drowning in your distress
Trapped within this shipwreck
